LEGACY DAYLION HENDRIX
THURSDAY AFTERNOON
NOVEMBER 24th, 2022

"WASSUP ISABELLA," BONES greeted his mother on the school phone that she was on the other side of.

"Hi baby," he could hear the smile on her face, but it did nothing to move him at all as he stared straight ahead. "I can't believe you didn't come home for break again. I thought you hated that school." She whined.

"Happy thanksgiving Isabella." He ignored her whining because she was just trying to guilt trip him. That only worked if you actually had sympathy for said person, and he in fact did not-so her whining was pointless.

"Really baby? You just gonna ignore everything I just said?" She asked him incredulously.

"Yes because you can't change my mind. Are you done?" He rubbed his eyes slouching his shoulders.

"Legacy we miss you, can you at least come home for Christmas?" She called out, feeling hopeless. She missed him so much and she hadn't seen him in months. She didn't want it to be like previous years where she didn't see him for the entire school year.

She practically begged him to go to public school this year instead of returning back to BPA but he didn't want to, and his father had no problem sending him back.

"Maybe, I'm tired." He told her trying to get her off the phone with him because if he talked to her any longer his day would be ruined and he didn't want that.

"Okay baby, well I just call up there tomorrow. We're getting ready to go to your grandmothers house for a thanksgiving gathering." She had a hint of attitude in her voice when she said that.

It was no secret that she hated her husbands mother, but legacy loved her the most. She was always there for him no matter what. She was his real mother figure, and that's why isabella didn't like her much.

She hated how somehow legacy grew a bond with her but didnt want to be bothered with his own mother. It was so stupid to her. Instead of thinking of why, she just placed blame on his grandmother Edis accusing her of trying to take her spot.

She just didn't realize there was no spot to take.

"I love-bye." Bones cut her off and slammed the phone hanging it up, wasting no time as he pulled the large brown door open stepping out.

"Happy thanksgiving legacy." Their head master told him as he got ready to walk past, and he nodded at her. "You plan on getting from from the hall later?" She questioned and he shrugged.
