Cregan winced as the maester was aiding to the wound on his arm. The King requested for the Lord of the North to be taken care of. "It will heal in a few days, my lord." The maester said as he bowed his head.

The man hummed as he nodded. "Thank you." He said massaging the arm that was now covered in bandaids. "You are dismissed." He instructed and the maester bowed before exiting the room.

Cregan sighed as he leaned in his chair looking up at the ceiling. He slowly closed his eyes and the flashbacks of the night before crossed his mind. Who would have thought that he would find himself, crying his eyes out, in the arms of a Princess from the House he swore to never trust?

"Something funny, my lord?" Ser Paldyon asked as he was standing to the side, next to the door.

"Just the fate." Cregan said opening his eyes. "It has a funny way of making things work, don't you think?" He asked his knight.

Ser Paldyon was surprised of his lord's attitude and the way he smiled. He wondered what caused him to ask this kind of question.

Suddenly a knock was heard at the door. The two men looked at each other confused, before Cregan nodded towards the knight. Ser Paldyon opened the door and before him stood no one other than Princess Visenya with a basket in her hands, a small smile on her face.

"Good afternoon, Ser Paldyon. May I enter?" She asked.

The knight looked unsure at his Lord, only to find him smiling and nodding his head. "Um, sure, Your Grace." The knight said standing aside and bowing as the Princess stepped inside.

Cregan was quickly on his feet walking to her as she smiled softly. "I saw the maester on the halls and thought that maybe I could pay you a visit." She said shrugging before she showed him the basket. "I fetched some sweets from the kitchen." Visenya informed.

Cregan chuckled before taking the basket from her hands. "I appreciate the thought, Princess." He said as he put it on a table. "Please, make yourself comfortable." Cregan said gesturing towards the table with two chairs.

Visenya took a seat as Cregan was seated in front of her, across the table. "How are you feeling?" She asked worried.

Cregan smiled as he noticed her expression. He noticed how her forehead started to wrinkle a little as she furrowed her brows, her eyes showed worry and concern, as she bit her lower lip in anxiousness. He chuckled, making her look at him confused.

"I'm sorry, princess. But the way you worry about me, I find it adorable." He explained with a smile on his face, amused.

Visenya rolled her eyes at his statement. "I am serious. I was worried after what happened yesterday." She voiced her concerns.

"About those assassins?" Cregan asked raising an eyebrow.

"That too..." Visenya said, looking at him, debating if she should continue. "Along other things..." She detailed.
