We followed behind the lady in a line as she led us inside the castle. I almost gasped out loud. The ceiling is neverending. Vampires were all around us. Some were cleaning (I think they're humans), some were minding their business and some were just being vampires - looking at humans in hunger.

"This is the waiting area, the living room, the chill room." The lady said and she led us around the entire place.

By the time we were finished, my legs were dying.

This place is huge.

There wasn't "floors". Well there were but they didn't call it that.

The lady's name was Solana Kings. She's the Queen's sister. She said that the queen was busy which is why she wasn't able to give us the tour herself.

Solana told us that we have a thirty minute break before we were requested in the throne room for assembly.

We all sat down in the waiting area and the previous girl and boy from the carrier van that spoke to me came and sat down beside me.

"I'm London." The girl said and she pushed her hand out towards me. "I like your hair. It's so curly."

I smiled.

"Thank you. I'm Lauren." I introduced myself.

"I'm Jaden."

We got acquainted with each other, saying where we're from and our ages.

"I lived with my grandmother and my brother." I told them.

"How old is your brother?" Jaden asked.

"17."

He nodded in thought.

"I lived with my parents, 4 siblings and my dog." London chirped and I laughed at the voice she used.

"And none of your siblings were got chosen?" I asked.

"Yes. My older brother. He worked for the vampire nation for six years before he begged the queen to let him return home so he can take care of his family. She reluctantly agreed." London informed me. "From my brother, I heard that she is cold and goes on killing sprees, always. Her personal maids always had a hard time. "

"Whenever she'd go on those killing sprees, the personal maids would clean it up?" Jaden asked and London nodded fastly.

"According to Matthew, yes."

"And she has no sort of remorse? That's pretty evil." Jaden scoffed and I elbowed him.

"Remember they have super hearing. If they hear you speaking about their queen like that, who knows what will happen?"

"Like what? THAT SHE'S FUCKING EVIL? SHE'S THE ONE BEHIND THE SYSTEM. THAT FUCKING BITCH NEEDS TO BE PUT DO-" Jaden's head was ripped off from his body and Miss Solana held his head above his body as the blood spurted out from his headless body.

She scowled down at him and dropped his head on the ground as his body hung off the sofa in an unnerving way. The blood pooled at my feet and I moved back on the couch, avoiding the blood.

"No one speaks about the queen like that. She's doing this for all you ungrateful sperm cells. Without her, none of you would have a home and efficient space to live." Solana pointed her finger at the remaining twenty-nine of us. "Roman, get someone to clean this up."

Three guards came over and took up his body and head and disappeared. A cleaner came and started cleaning up the blood.

"The queen is ready to see all of you. Get up and follow me."

We got up and followed behind her in a line. London held my hand and I squeezed her hand as I looked at her.

She looked at me in fright as we followed behind Miss Solana.
