Solana pecked my forehead goodnight as she opened the door for me. Majority of the other workers were asleep so I wasn't worried about any one of them seeing me. It was late in the night and I honestly thought that it was going to be short but she took me out fully.

After the picnic, we went to a bird exhibition and then shopping. She bought me a few stuff, hair products, clothes and other little stuff. After shopping, it was getting late and it was already dinner time so she took me to a restaurant and we had ate and had fun. When dinner was done, we walked in the streets and found a bench to sit on underneath a street light and had a small conversation.

We had our second kiss there.

"Goodnight, Lauren." Solana said as she smiled at me.

"Goodnight."

I stepped into the room and she closed the door.

I walked to my bunk bed and London immediately stood up.

"Spill!" She whisper-yelled and I rested the two shopping bags on the ground, dropping in her bed.

"It was perfect." I sighed dreamily. It really was.

I gave her a rundown of the day and everything that happened.

"She was your first kiss?"

I nodded.

"Woah." London looked at me with wide eyes.

"I have a feeling though." I told her. "It's been on my mind and there's a voice in the back of my head spewing bullshit."

"Saying?"

"That what we have going on is wrong and that I'm... Athena's."

London scowled.

"What?" She scoffed. "If anything, you deserve better than her. Solana is giving that to you and your conscience decides to step in?"

London rolled her eyes.

"Push the voice to the back of your head and live your life. If someone else wants to step in and give you what your destined won't be able to give you then that's completely okay. And from what you've been telling me, the bond haven't fully developed as yet so it won't be any hassle moving on. I did some reading today in my free time about mates and stuff, learnt a lot."

I smiled at her.

"Thank you."

I removed my dress and got ready for bed, plating out my puff so that my hair wasn't tender tomorrow and slacking the roots.

I stared at the wall and a smile graced my lips as I thought about today's events.

I woke up with a clear mind, ready to start my day with positivity.

I jumped down from the bed and went to the bathroom to wash my face and do my morning routine. London was still asleep and the shopping bags were still beside her bed. I unpacked the stuff and placed the hair products in the bedside table that we owned and the clothes I got, I left them in be shopping bag, deciding to use it for storage.

I woke London up so that she could start her day.

I showered and got dressed, ready to take on whatever the day had in store for me.

Yesterday just made me so happy.

I can't tell how long it has been since I've felt like this and it has been almost three months since I've been here.

Almost nine months till your death date.

Shut up. I know I'm good at what I do so I won't die when the year comes.

Speaking of which... I haven't seen Diana in a hot minute, where is she? Did she finally leave? Amen, if so.

London and I shared a few words as I freshened my hair and did my edges. Today, they were just little brush ups.

We left the room together and I practically skipped down the halls.

"You're happy today." London teased.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" She shrugged and smiled.

"I'm happy that you're happy, Lauren."

"Me too." I grinned and London laughed.

We hugged each other as we parted ways and I headed to Athena's room. She only got up that early to follow me down the hall, to the janitors closet and then part ways with me and help with the preparation of breakfast. It wasn't required for her to do so but she decided to.

I'm sure the kitchen staff is grateful for her. Hell, I'd be too. An extra hand in my work? Yes. Unless it's a case where I'd like to be left alone then get out.

I entered Athena's room and my eyes widened at it's state.

It was clean, spotless even.

Did the one day I didn't work make her clean up after herself?

I giggled at my thoughts and still double-checked everything. Clean, spotless.

Well at least less work for me anyways.

I headed to the throne room.

I was praying that it was clean and I didn't have any blood to clean up. When I pushed open the golden doors, spotless.

I didn't smell any cleaning substances so I knew someone didn't clean here.
