THIS IS NOT CHAPTER SEVEN!! WATTPAD MESSES UP THE SEQUENCE

-

I don't want to do this.

I know she hates me and it just makes me want to not do this even more.

"How does it feel being the queen's personal server?"

Shitty.

Awful.

Nerve wrecking.

You haven't even started working for her as yet.

"Girl! I love what you did with your hair. Can you do mine like that?" London said in awe as she trailed her finger over the cornrow and fluffed out my puff.

My hair was done in two, with a single cornrow on each side that joins in the puff. I did some edges and curled what I could with the extreme gel.

Solana had gotten a handful of items for me, some I didn't ask for and double what's on the list.

So thoughtful.

"Sure but it won't be as," I did a motion with my hand, "stiff as mine."

"Can I cut my hair for it to look like that?" I laughed.

"Girl, no." I shook my head. "Let's exchange hair. I've always wanted soft hair like yours."

"Yes, please."

"Im joking." I patted her head.

I love my hair even if sometimes it makes me cry when it doesn't go the way I want it to.

We parted our ways as we went to our designated area. I went to the cleaning room first and grabbed some supplies and then headed towards Athena's room. I knocked and waited until she answered but there was no response. I knocked again. Still nothing.

I entered and looked at the room.

Oh. Um?

On the bedside table, there were blood bags, the bed was messy, the vanity looks... like it's going through a rough time and her closet door was open widely. Her entire room looks like a tornado has ran through it.

I put the gloves on and got to work.

-

After her room then the bathroom and then the throne room. When I got to the throne room, I almost threw up.

There was blood smeared across the tables, intestines on the ground in front of the throne, an eyeball sitting on one of the tables and I spotted loose hair along the blood.

Oh.

That's intense.

I placed he bucket down and folded my lips.

Okay. You can get through with this.

You got this, Lauren.

I placed a new set of gloves on my hands and walked towards the table where the eyeball laid.

I guess they were recently placed in her because they weren't here yesterday and neither were the chairs. It looks like an entire meeting set up.

I took up the eyeball and my eye lingered on it longer than intended.

The brown eye stared at me as the nerves dangled on it. I scrunched my nose and sighed as I walked back to the bucket and took up a garbage bag. I had them just in case and turns out, I needed them. I opened the garbage bag with the help of my fingers and my opposing hand and dropped the eye in it. I walked towards the guts and took them up.

Squelch!

Plop!

Oh God.

I took up everything and by time I was finished, I felt my throat becoming heavy. I shook the feeling away tied the garbage bag after I finished taking up the remains of a human.

I got the mop and rolled my shoulders back.

Let's do this.

After I finished cleaning, I was eager to get out of these clothes. I had blood on them. I felt very sick, disgusted. I wanted to throw up. I wanted a shower. I wanted my nana.

I entered the bathroom and stripped from my clothes.

I hope this isn't an everyday thing and I don't have to burn my clothes everyday.

I showered and got dressed in a fresh pair of clothes and the headed to the kitchen where I found London. She smiled when she saw me but her smile flatter when she saw my grim face.

"Oh my. What happened?" London asked and brought me into her embrace. When she pulled back she cupped my face and looked at me in worry.

And I spilled everything to her.

"That's awful!" London exclaimed as she made a face in horror. "Does she not have a heart? And it's your first day, too!"

"I know right! Like let her take it easy." Emily chimed.

Emily was a cleaner. She was on lunch and her and London had become friends over the short period of time.

"I have to serve her lunch in a few." I groaned.

I didn't want to.

I just wanted to sleep.

"The head chef started preparing it not too long ago so I figure it'll be done in a few." London said. "As a matter of fact, let me go check on it and be right back." London got up from the stool she sat on and left to go see the head chef.

"So Emily, how's your first day on the job?"

"Horrible. These people are nasty. "
