Solana Kings <3

I checked my watch. 11:59a.m.

It didn't take long before I smelt the beauty coming my way. One thing about my vampire senses that I loved was how it allowed me to be alerted.

My eyes met hers and my lips parted slightly.

She looked exactly like how I imagined she would- perfect.

Lauren looked up at me as she stood in front of me.

"You look beautiful." I told her truthfully.

"So do you." She replied.

I placed my hand in hers and I heard her heart pick up it's pace. I kept my smirk to myself and led her to the garage where Athena and I had our cars.

Ha! Take that, Athena.

I made her heart race, what did you do?

Traumatize her?

I walked towards the black Ranger Rover and opened the door for her and she got in. I closed the door and sped around to my side before getting in.

I drove out of the garage and off the main grounds before going onto the main road.

"Where are we going?" Lauren asked as she fumbled with the radio.

"I have a picnic set up for us." I glanced at her to see her reaction. Her face didn't say anything but her heart did. "On the seaside and then afterwards we could go shopping and, or this bird exhibition."

"Really?" Her wide eyes stared at me and I nodded.

I handed her my phone and she looked at it and then at me.

"Play music from that. I can tell you want to hear something."

"Thank you." She replied softly and I smiled.

If only you were mine.

We arrived at the sight and Lauren gasped. I let go off her hand as she examined the picnic I had set up for her.

I could easily read her.

I could tell she was the type to like the sea, the sunset, animals, nature, simple things like that. I could tell she didn't need much done for her, just show her that you're there and you're giving her what she needs. She was a simple girl, I love that about her.

I sat her down on her blanket and sat down beside her.

"This is..." She trailed off as she looked at the sea. The waves crashed against the shore gently. It was cool outside, not too hot. There was a huge umbrella towering over us giving shade. "woah." She finished her sentence and her adjective made me chuckle.

"Just 'woah'?" I teased and she looked at me.

"No, I mean, it's beautiful. I can't find the words to describe how beautiful the scenery is."

A smile found its way on my lips.

"Tell me something about you, Lauren."

Lauren Holness

I stared at Solana as she ate that strawberry.

She's beautiful.

I couldn't stop thinking that.

Her ponytail moved as the wind blew gently. She stared at the sea and all I wanted to do was tell her how grateful I am for this. This was my first ever date and it was amazing, so far.

"I can feel your eyes boring holes in my brain." Solana said and she turned her face to look at me. Her red eyes stared at me intensely and I blushed and looked away.

"You're pretty." I muttered and she placed her finger underneath my chin and turned my face to her.

"Look at me and say it again."

Holy fuck.

Butterflies.

Somersaults.

Oh God.

"You're pretty, Solana." I muttered and I saw her eyes flickered down to my lips for a mere second.

Oh?

Both of our heads went in closer to each others face. Solana moved her finger from underneath my chin and cupped my cheek. Her lips brushed against mine and I moved my head up so that my lips connected to hers.

Bold move.

Our lips moved against one another in a soft, passionate kiss and I couldn't stop the butterflies in my stomach. I placed my hand on hers that cupped my cheek and Solana used her other hand to steady her upper body.

After a few seconds, we both pulled back from the kiss and rested our foreheads against one another.

First kiss, check.

Solana took a deep breath in and removed her forehead from mine and her eyes flashed a dark purple for a second. If I blinked, I would've missed it.

She smiled at me.

"Let's get going to our next destination?"

-

Heheh. This was not a part of the plan but I'm LOVING it!
