Fair to say, I passed all.

I'm just that girl.

Jokes.

I did pass 7 out 8. I didn't get weapon cleaning. Simply because I didn't know how to hold majority of the weapons but that's okay. I didn't want to be assigned to it anyways. Majority of us didn't get in. Only one did and it was a male who's been quiet all the time. That was the only thing he got so I guess it showed us what kind of person he is. Seven of them didn't get anything and they were all scared. They didn't know if they're going to be a donor or a cleaner.

Id be scared too honestly.

Solana informed us that we'd get our assigned fields tomorrow and we all dreaded tomorrow.

I sat down in bed as I scratched my hair. All the gel and hair products from two days ago was getting to my hair and it was making itchy. I needed some shampoo and hair products.

Im going to ask for them.

I got down from the bunk bed and left the room. I went to the living room and luckily, I saw Solana watching TV.

I approached her, bowing a bit.

She looked at me with a questioning look.

"Um, hi. I'm Lauren, one of the new staff members and I'm requesting shampoo and conditioner and a comb and possibly some hair products?" I said in one breath as I avoided eye contact.

"Write me a list of things you want and I'll get someone to fetch them." Solana said and I nodded.

"Thank you, Miss..." I trailed off. I didn't know how to address her.

Solana nodded and she sipped on the blood in her glass as she stared at me.

"I'll be here waiting for you, Lauren."

Another meeting was called in the throne room the next day for results and who's going to be what. I was nervous, of course.

I could be anything.

I didn't want to do room services simply because people's rooms can get really nasty and I'm not cleaning up after any nasty bitch who can't clean up after themselves.

Solana sat in the throne beside the queen and they looked at us.

My eyes stayed on Athena longer than they should as I ogled over her. She's wearing a red dress with a V-cut in the neckline and the dress clung to her body.

Her breasts, gosh.

I'm in love with them.

It's either she was wearing a pushup bra or breast tape but they were spilling. Can boobs be perky and spill from someone's top?

Why would she even wear a pushup bra?

She's a woman.

Athena's eyes scanned us until they met mine and I immediately looked away and walked to where London was.

Solana was handed a list and she passed it to her sister.

Athena looked at the list and started telling us our assigned roles. She stated with bedroom services and then weaponry and the list went on.

"In the cooking field we have London Fox. Congratulations, Miss Fox." Athena said to her and London smiled.

"For my personal server we have," she paused and a scowl was placed on her lips. "Lauren Holness."

Oh.

Was she not pleased?

London shoulder bounced me and I gave her a tight lip smile.

"Cleaners, Emily Lovato and Raheem Haynes."

"Meet Solana afterwards for your schedules." Athena said, dismissing us.

Solana left the room and we followed her.

Okay then.

She led us to the other room beside the throne room and there waited the head chef, the head gardener, the head guard and all the other heads.

Gimme head top-

She handed each of us a list and I took mine and my eyes scanned the sheet of paper.

There stood everything I was going to do, Athena's eating schedule and what I was supposed to give.

Blood?

I was supposed to give her blood?

"Um, excuse me, Miss Solana?" I called out to her and she came back to where I was. "On this it says I'm supposed to give your majesty blood but I was wondering if I could back out on that?"

Solana looked at me for a bit.

"Why? You don't have any diseases or sickness so what's the issue?"

I swallowed harshly.

I was scared.

She didn't wait for me to answer. "I'll speak to my sister about it."

I nodded gratefully. "Thank you."

Like she'll say no. I bet she'd want to drain me so she can get rid of me.

Solana nodded.

"All of you start working tomorrow. You have three strikes to mess up. Your third, death." Solana spoke loudly.

"Miss?"

Solana looked at the source of the voice.

"I thought we w-wouldn't have any strikes because we e-eve-eventually die if w-we aren't good en-enough at one year's mark." Their stuttering almost made me laugh as Solana neared him.

I would be pissing myself too, dude.

I mean we all saw her rip Jaden's head from his body.

Poor Jaden.

Sip, my dude.

We all thought she was going to do something irrational but she shook us by smiling.

"Sometimes we have to pay for our mistakes. Right... Kyle?"

Kyle nodded quickly.

"Right, ma'am." He looked down and Solana clapped three times making the person who stood beside Kyle flinch.

"Get out now and find something to do. I'm not going to be babysitting you all."
