Another day, another cleaning.
The started off as any other. It has been three days since Solana and I started went out. We see each other whenever I'd get lunch or any little break. I'd normally find her on the field training.
I recently found out that she's the one who majorly trains the best warriors. That day, she just wasn't there but I've seen her and Athena in action.
Athena joins in on the training as a sparring partner for Solana and to see the improvement of the trainees.
I pushed open the throne room door with a smile on my face. These days when I wake up, I've been feeling so happy and I love that for me.
I hummed as I placed the bucket down.
My eyes looked up and my heart leaped out of my chest.
Oh, God.
This is the worse it has ever been.
I can't—
It's too much.
Heads, limbs, organs, all over the ground and on the thrones. I stumbled back as I took in the horrific site in front of me. It wasn't what I was seeing but the presentation of them.
The eyes on the heads were open, some rolled back. The opened ones seemingly stared at me and from the limbs oozed blood. There were feet, hands, fingers biceps and limbless bodies.
What the hell happened here?
Is this her torture room?
She's so inconsiderate for doing this and then having someone clean all of this up for her, a human at that. A vampire can manage it because a) one did this and b) they love blood.
She just makes me so upset.
Ugh.
I wanted to leave but I couldn't. It's like my feet were planted in the ground and I hated that.
Solana Kings
I was passing the throne room and I knew that it was the time for Lauren to be cleaning. I decided to stop and check on her.
Before opening the doors, I heard whimpering and my eyebrows furrowed.
Is that—
I opened the golden doors and I saw Lauren covering her eyes and shaking her head, muttering a few words that I couldn't pick up. I touched her shoulder and she jumped away from the contact but then looked at me and relaxed slightly.
My eyes took in the surroundings and I frowned.
What the fuck, Athena?
I took Lauren from the throne room and she hugged me as she cried in my embrace.
"I-"
"Shh," I shushed her and closed the doors.
I lifted her bridal style and sped off to the kitchen where I knew her friend would be. She's the only person I see her talk to on the regular so I knew they were close.
The friend looked at us as I arrived and her eyes widened.
"Hold her while I handle something." I told her and she looked at the meal she was preparing and back at me. "I'll have it dealt with. You have the rest of day off and so does Lauren."
