I dropped the bag of flour on the ground and June looked at me with wide eyes along with the rest of the kitchen staff.

"Wha—"

"Restock." I told them. They looked at the numerous bags that laid on the counter and on the ground.

"Thank you." June bowed her head and I smiled softly at her.

I feel achieved.

"You don't need to thank me. It's on behalf of the queen." Shane smirked at me when I said that and I chuckled.

"You're one of the queens so thank you."

Athena told them?

While I wasn't present?

I'm going to beat her ass.

I bid June and the rest of the staff goodbye and went up to Athena's floor. I had the quadruplets bringing the rest of the bags to her kitchen and I thanked them.

"I'll be sure to raise your pays." I teased.

Dominico laughed.

"We're being paid enough already plus you buy us food so I think that's good enough." He said and Nicholás cracked his back as he stretched.

I still had a hard time telling them apart but I could kind of tell them differently.

Nicholás has a mustache and he hardly talks.

Dominic's hair is always tamed and he smiles a lot.

Dominic is more muscular than all of them.

Nicolas is just... there. He's just quiet and does his job. He hardly talks, too, but I could tell him differently from Nicholás.

"Bye! Have a good day!" The quadruplets bowed and left.

I went to Athena's office, looking for her, after deciding that I'll pack the groceries out later. I didn't see her there so I went back to the kitchen and packed out the frozen goods because they'll be spoilt if I don't.

After packing out everything, I went in search of Athena. She wasn't in her room or her office so that leaves me with the throne room. I haven't been in there since... forever. I was still traumatized from my cleaning days.

I hesitantly opened the golden doors, hoping that I didn't walk in on her in the act of killing someone.

I looked around the room and all the necks snapped towards me.

I realized what I walked in on.

A meeting.

"Oh, I'll come back later." I blushed in embarrassment and was about to leave when Athena motioned for me to come to her.

I walked over to her with my head down, the braids falling down the sides of my face.

She made me sit in the throne next to her, the one Solana was seated in the first day I got here and she looked at me.

"Are you okay?" She muttered and smoothed out my hair. I nodded with a smile on my face and Athena leaned over and pecked my lips.

Athena turned to the council and I recognized a few faces.

"This is Lauren, my mate. Mama, meet Amoya– the high mage, her second– Venice, Mateo– the alpha of the werewolf nation, his Beta – Judas, Celestine– the Faerie Queen and her second– Nurenya." I waved to everyone and they all gave me warm smiles.

She called me 'mama'.
