The days went by quickly.

Three days have passed since I have seen Athena, three days since the office incident.

Solana had told me that Athena said yes to the day off and she decided that she was going to take me out today, Wednesday. I didn't have anything to wear so I was relying on Solana to get me something.

The time she settled on was 12p.m. which meant she was taking me out for lunch.

I had the entire morning for myself.

London looked at me weirdly when the clock struck 8.

"Why aren't you on your way to the queen right now?" She asked me. "Do you want to die, girl?"

I laughed.

"I have a day off."

"What? How?" She asked as she climbed up on my bunk bed.

The others has already left so it was just us two in the room. London didn't started working until 9 so I had her until then.

"Solana." I simply said.

"You're dating the queen's sister?"

Before I could deny her accusations, the door opened.

"I wish." The intruder said and we looked at the person and saw Solana. She smirked when we both looked at her and I narrowed my eyes at her.

She held up the hanger in her hand that had clothes hanging from it in a clothes bag.

"This is yours." She walked towards the bunk bed and I took it from her and rested it in the bed.

"Thank you."

Solana smiled at me.

"London." She acknowledged my best friend and London smiled at her.

"Good morning."

"Remember, 12."

"Yes, Solana." I stressed. "I remember."

Solana waved bye to us and left, closing the door behind her.

London looked at me and I looked at her.

"Spill, right now."

I told her everything, including that Athena was my mate. It kind of slipped out but I knew I couldn't take it back once it was out. When I finished telling her everything, her jaw was on the ground.

"You kept this from me?!" She shrieked. "Ahh! Oh my god!"

I gave her a look.

"I honestly ship you and Solana, oh my god. You guys are cute together and there's a slight look in her eyes when she looks at you."

"Stop being delusional." I deadpanned.

"I'm not though. The look is there! It's one of those book looks." I looked at her in confusion and London rolled her eyes. "she stared at her with love hearts in her eyes, her gaze dreamy. Her eyes held an emotion, one I couldn't decipher, as she stared at me in a daze." I looked at London like she was crazy.

"I need an idea of how to do my hair." I told her, ignoring everything she previously said. "I'm tired of puffs." I huffed.

London thought for a minute as she looked at me. Her eyes suddenly lit up.

"Do you have hair accessories?"

"Yes."

"Good. Let's look at the outfit first to see if the hairstyle I'm thinking about matches it." We got down from the bunk bed and I took up the hanger and unzipped the bag and looked at the outfit.

On the hanger hung a yellow, long flared sleeve dress. At the breasts part, it had ribbing and the dress seemed to be about knee length.

"Okay, this is cute." London said as she nodded and looked at me. "Yes, the hairstyle will work."

I took my bonnet off and she looked at my hair and grimaced.

"Let's wash that trash."

Excuse me?

We washed my hair together and soon, she had to go in for her duties. She did tell me the idea that she had in mind and I was able to carry it out successfully. Everything I needed to do my hair was present so I used it and soon, my hair was done in two beautiful cornrows with a side part and a puff at the back so that it wasn't fully platted out. I placed two white butterfly clips in the puff and looked at the time.

9:27.

I didn't start to get ready as yet.

I decided to use this time and look after my body, shaving and doing all that — not that I needed to but because I had nothing else to do with the time.
