It was morning time in King's Landing

It was morning time in King's Landing. Shaera laid in bed fast asleep as the sun rose. Daemon couldn't find himself able to fall asleep, leading to him in laying in silence beside the naked girl.

He smiled slightly as he watched her sleep, the woman's quiet snores and the breeze being the only things he heard in her chambers.

He found himself running his hands through her silver hair that was left down. He recalled himself cursing the night before about how difficult it was to unbraid it all. He preferred her hair down, to be frank.

Shaera moaned in her sleep, beginning to wake up. Daemon smirked. He had clearly done it on purpose. She had always been a light sleeper, given her paranoia.

She was a very paranoid woman, even more than him which said something. She tried to hide it but it was obvious. She consistently worried about people being out to get her. Although she had reason to feel such. She had been betrayed at least once by every single person she had loved.

Daemon repeatedly abandoned her. Viserys repeatedly married her off. Rhaegon had left for four years without even a letter. Viserra had married her husband behind her back, knowing she'd say no.

"Did you just wake up?" Shaera questioned as she turned to face him, smiling softly.

"I've been up for hours," Daemon responded, continuing to play with her hair, "Watching you sleep. It is the only time I see you truly at peace."

"Ugh," Shaera groaned, turning onto her back, "I do love sleeping."

"More than you love me?" Daemon had stupidly asked, moving closer to her.

"Yes," She plainly answered and Daemon rolled his eyes.

He immediately jumped to hover over her, beginning to tickle her torso. "You'll change your mind when I'm done," He spoke lowly as Shaera erupted into a fit of laugher.

She had always been severely ticklish. Daemon had been the only one to know.

"Daemon, stop it!" She managed to get out, trying to pry his hands from her sides.

"I'm waiting," He reminded her, continuing to tickle her as she laughed.

"Okay, okay!" Shaera finally responded, allowing Daemon to stop. She paused, smiling up at the man. "I love you more than sleep."

"I thought so--" Daemon proudly answered, sitting up from the bed.

"Not!" She finished, laughing as she jumped out of the bed before he could catch her.

Daemon had attempted to bed Shaera that morning, but the two were interrupted when Ser Harrold knocked at her door, informing her that Otto Hightower was demanding her and the king's presence.
