Unluckily for Shaera, when it came time to travel to the Kingswood, she was forced to ride in a carriage with Viserys, Alicent, Rhaenyra, and Aegon.

Viserys had insisted on taking Viserra and Daemion, as well, given they were also apart of the royal family. Daemion was a prince, after all, just four years older than the two year old Prince Aegon.

Shaera knew Viserys wasn't entirely stupid. He knew there was a divide in the family since his second marriage.

Rhaenyra, Shaera, and her children on one side. Alicent, her father, and her son on the other.

He hoped getting Daemion aquaintted with Aegon at a young age, they'd form a friendship. A friendship that would unite both feuding sides.

The same had once happened with Rhaegon and Rhaenyra. Obviously, Viserys assumed the two were just close friends. People like Shaera and Alicent knew it was more than that.

If the two were told to marry that night, they would. Not because it was their duty, because in a way, they had always hoped it would happen. They had always been friends, of course, but since the day Shaera returned to court for good, the two had matured and now saw the potential for more. At least on Rhaegon's part.

Rhaenyra had always been fond of Rhaegon in that way. Ever since the day she met him.

Even now the boy could rarely escape her mind.

"Well, isn't this splendid," Viserys tried to break the silence in the carriage. Rhaenyra, Shaera, Daemion, and Viserra sat on one side, the rest of them across.

"The whole of our family off to celebration and adventure in the Kingswood," Viserys continued, earning a sigh from Shaera.

Viserra turned, sharing a smile with Rhaenyra. Her uncle had been trying to hard to clear the air and yet, he was making it worse.

The carriage hitting a bump, Alicent groaned as she clutched her stomach, the trip clearly not faring well with her. To Viserra, the woman looked so pregnant, she felt like the baby could slip out at any moment.

"Should you even be traveling in such condition?" Viserra asked the Queen curiously, staring at the woman's large baby bump. She almost smiled slightly, imagining herself growing that large. It looked uncomfortable to say the least.

"The maester said that being out in nature would do me well," Alicent answered the girl who was her niece through marriage. She forced a smile, turning to glance at her.

Viserys smiled, allowing Aegon to drink from his cup. He turned, looking over at Viserra. "You will have your own child sooner than late, given your recent marriage," He informed the girl, causing Viserra to shift uneasily in her seat, "And make your mother a proud grandsire," He paused and smiled at Rhaenyra, who sat beside her cousin, "As you will one day too, Rhaenyra."
