"You must behave while Daemion and I are gone," Morro found himself kneeling in front of Daena, who was devastated at the news of him and Daemion leaving for Harrenhall.

Daena knew Daemion only went to allow Alicent to calm down. Not to mention, returning with Morro on Dragonback was a lot quicker than horseback.

"And be kind to your grandmother," Morro continued as Daena refused to look at him, tears forming in her eyes.

"Why can't I come?" Daena whined and stomped her feet, which caused Morro to sigh.

It pained him, to be frank. The girl adored him, no matter how much of a pain in his ass she was.

"It's dangerous for a little lady out there," He reminded her and Daena nodded, knowing the warning all too well.

Daemion reminded her often. Men were pigs. And she believed him. He was a man, after all. He knew better than anyone.

"I'll miss you," Daena cried out, rushing to wrap her arms around Morro, "Please come back soon. You promised me you'd let me spar with you and Daemion."

"The moment I come back," He assured her, earning a smile from the small girl. He stood up, wiping the tears streaming down her pale cheeks, "It won't be long. A fortnight, at most."

"What will I even do without you and Daemion!" Daena complained, turning to briefly glance at Shaera, who stood nearby, "Who will protect us?"

Morro chuckled at the girl's words. He shook his head slightly. "You and I both know you and your grandmother don't need the protection of any man," He paused, noticing the look the girl gave him, "You will do just fine while we are away. You needn't worry. Try to stay out of meaningless fights. Never strike first. Be aware of your surroundings. But if you must truly fight..."

"Make sure you win!" Daena shouted, knowing the advice all too well. Morro knew Daena to be hotheaded. He had always told her to choose her battles. Sometimes she did so, other times not so much.

"I love you," Daena whispered in a soft tone, staring up at Morro sadly.

"I love you too, child," Morro playfully messed up her hair, causing Daena to giggle.

She rushed over to where Daemion approached them. She engulfed him a hug, earning a smile from Morro.

He moved to approach Shaera, who stood nearby. "I wish you didn't have to go," Shaera spoke in a whisper, unable to look her lover in the eyes.

Morro sighed, cupping the woman's face in his hands. He tilted her head, forcing her to look up at him. "I must. The sooner I leave, the sooner I'll return," He assured her, earning the slightest of smiles from the woman.

"When you come back, we can get married," She offered, earning an amused look from Morro, "I'm serious. We can do it in secret. Fuck what anyone has to say about it. I want to love you in public. I don't want to live a secret life anymore."
