62. Dragon Slaying

Dewi quickly takes Indra to the Dragon's back and the other Super S-Ranks are attacking the Dragon. They need to make sure the Dragon doesn't attack Indra until he finishes.

Indra is now crouching on the Dragon's back neck and his sister stands behind him, ready to protect him anytime.

He touches the Dragon's big scales and uses his skill, "Devour!"

The Dragon suddenly feels pain all over its body as it loses its strength rapidly. It can feel its power being sucked and it can't stop it.

"ROAR!"

The Dragon roars and tries to retaliate. It wants to crush whatever being that sucks its power like a vacuum now.

"Stay still!"

Of course, the Dragon won't stay still even if Indra says it with a very threatening tone. It whips its long tail to its back neck to hit Indra, but Dewi punches it back with her full-power punch that looks like a flash of white light.

The other Hunters also keep attacking the Dragon. Il Hwan and Zhigang are attacking its wings to prevent it from flying. They've danaged the wings quite badly, so it will be hard for the Dragon to fly.

Norway's Ragnar is slashing the Dragon's achilles tendons on the right back legs. Brazil's Jonas is attacking its left back leg using his powerful kicks. Thomas and Shiddarth are holding its front legs while the Mages are attacking its front with the little mana they have left.

Its overall power disappears rapidly, giving the Hunters a much easier time to damage the Dragon. With its mana being sucked rapidly, its defense also gets weakened and their attacks now can break the scales much easier.

The Dragon can't even fight back now because the suction on his power also takes away its consciousness rapidly. Indra is very focused on devouring the Dragon's power, after all, so the Devour skill is working at max speed.

It doesn't take long for the Dragon to finally lose all its power. It falls forward after losing its power, but it's still alive.

"HURRY UP AND KILL IT BEFORE IT REGAIN ITS POWER! I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THIS DEBUFF SPELL WILL LAST ON THIS LEVEL OF MONSTER."

Of course, it's a lie. He can't tell that his skill can take magical beings' power permanently. It will scare the world and he will be seen as a worse threat than monsters.

The Super S-Ranks that don't know how his skill works believe him. So they quickly use all their best attacks to kill the Dragon. After all, they don't want to fight this powerful Dragon any longer.

However, he knows that even if he reveals his true power, it still won't make him able to defeat the Dragon alone. His physical power when they started fighting the Dragon was still just around Thomas's level.

That's really strong, but he can cover for that by buffing Thomas. And by buffing all the fighters, he could increase their overall power to the point where his direct participation was not needed.

As for his Lightning and Rune Magic, he is still not very proficient with them. Their powers are at most just as strong as the 3 Mages' individual spells. So rather than using them, it's better to focus on his support spells.

Indra lays on his back while still on top of the Dragon. The others also do the same because this fight was very tiring. Indra is also tired, but he has something that he needs to check right away.
