86. Soloing S-Rank Boss

Around the time when Russia's S-Rank Gate is cleared, Australia's S-Rank dungeon raid has just entered a crucial stage.

Quite a number of the Ice Yetis have been killed by the buffed S-Ranks' bombardment. They are trapped inside the barrier and keep receiving attacks, after all.

Their attacks can't even touch the Hunters because Indra always closes the holes on the barrier that are used to attack the Ice Yetis before their attacks can hit the Hunters outside.

So it becomes a one-sided war where only the Hunters' attacks are hitting the Ice Yetis and their attacks are so powerful because of Indra's super buffs.

Now the boss finally appears. It's an Ice Yeti thrice the size of the other Ice Yetis. The boss has 2 heads and 4 arms.

Its whole body is almost fully covered with clear crystals as if wearing armor. The crystal on its head even looks like a real crown along with its 9 horns.

The only places without Ice Crystal armor are its face, palms, and soles of feet. It will be very difficult to break through its defense.

Just looking at the boss is enough to make the Hunters intimidated. They are also worried if their attacks will be strong enough to break through the boss's defense.

"WHAT ARE YOU BEING SCARED FOR?"

Indra shouts as he closes all the holes on his barrier. He gathers everyone's attention with that shout. He has been standing on top of his barrier since the raid started, so his voice can be heard from all directions.

"WHY ARE YOU SO SCARED WHEN YOU WON'T EVEN FIGHT THE BOSS? I'VE TOLD YOU THIS WON'T BE A FIGHT, THIS WON'T BE A WAR. A FIGHT IS WHERE YOU ATTACK AND GET ATTACKED, YOU HIT AND GET HIT. BUT HAVE YOU GOTTEN ATTACKED OR HIT? NO! OUR ATTACKS ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT HIT THEM AND THEY CAN'T HIT US. THIS IS JUST A SLAUGHTER, NOT A WAR. WE ARE JUST SLAUGHTERING THEM. SO WHAT IF IT'S THE BOSS? IT JUST MEANS WE WILL NEED A LONGER TIME TO KILL IT. OR DO YOU NOT BELIEVE IN MY BARRIER? THE BARRIER THAT THE STRONGEST MONSTER, KAMISH THE DRAGON COULDN'T EVEN SCRATCH?"

Indra's loud speech makes the Hunter realize they are worrying over something useless. They aren't even fighting here as Indra says. This is not even a raid, this is just a massacre.

Seeing the Hunters are motivated again, Indra smiles satisfiedly. Then he casts buffs on the Hunters again before ordering the Healers to stack more buffs to increase their firepower.

But he doesn't open the attack holes on the barrier yet. Indra casts debuffs on the monsters first to reduce their power and defense. Then he finally opens the attack holes so the Hunters can attack.

Powerful magic attacks are flying toward the monsters from all sides. Indra keeps looking at the boss from above to monitor it while still paying attention to the other monsters.

He keeps closing the attack holes to block the monsters' attacks. Fortunately, the Ice Yetis' main attacks are physical attacks. But they can't get closer to the barrier to even use their physical attacks because of the Hunters' bombardment.
