97. Strongest Boss

Indra removes the barrier that blocks the boss room and everyone enters the room cautiously. He has buffed everyone with great buffs that double all of their stats.

Shiddarth and Thomas prepare their shields, ready to block the boss's attack anytime while the others are ready to attack once the Tanks pull the aggro.

But even after they get quite close to it, the massive boss still hasn't done anything and just sits on his spot without moving an inch.

Jonas wants to attack it immediately, but the others think it's better for the Tank to taunt it as usual because it will be bad if the aggro is not directed at the Tank.

So Shiddarth quickly uses his taunt skill and the boss finally moves now. It turns its head to look at Shiddarth. Then it suddenly swings its massive wooden club at him.

The boss is very fast. Its size and weight doesn't seem to affect its movement as it can swing its club at a very high speed. Even the average S-Rank Hunters can't move that fast, showing how scary its speed is.

Thankfully, Shiddarth's reaction speed is great. He activates his Magic Shield as soon as the boss moves and blocks its attack.

But even with all the buffs he receives from Indra, Shiddarth is still being pushed. Thomas is also supporting him holding the Magic Shield. Yet both of them are still being pushed back by the attack.

Now they finally can truly feel that this monster is even stronger than Kamish, at least physically. Giants' attacks are mostly physical, but the Raid Team is still being cautious in case this Giant Boss can use strong magic attacks as well.

Even Jin Woo and Indra are being cautious now. After all, this Giant Boss's power has been enhanced by the Rulers just like other monsters to make the average and National Level Hunters have more sense of danger about dungeons and monsters.

But none of them know exactly how strong the monsters have become after being enhanced. So they need to be careful because while they want the Hunters to stay wary of the monsters, they also don't want these top Hunters to die because these guys will be the Earth's greatest defenders.

While the boss sends a barrage of club attacks onto Shiddarth's Magic Shield, Indra casts debuff spells at the boss. His debuffs are much more powerful now, but he can't show their full power to the Hunters yet.

So he only shows what they know already, reducing all of the monster's stats by 25%. Such reduction in all of its stats is already great, especially for such a powerful monster.

After all, the weakening is much more noticeable for such a powerful monster. Shiddarth and Thomas who are facing the monster's attacks can already feel the difference.

"ALRIGHT! I DON'T FEEL ANY RESISTANCE. IT SEEMS LIKE THIS GUY'S MAGIC DEFENSE AND RESISTANCE ARE LOW. FOCUS ON USING YOUR MAGIC SKILLS."

Everyone nods before they start attacking the boss. The Mages prepare their strong spells. They will combine Reed's and Kwasi's fire spells with Dina's wind spells as usual to create a much stronger spell.
