The raid team stays near the Gate instead of moving deeper into the cave. But Il Hwan is not in the group. He has gone to scout the dungeon and find the monsters because he has a stealth skill he got not too long ago from a rune stone.
Indra doubts that skill was from a rune stone though. He thinks Jin Woo transfers that skill to Il Hwan, but he doesn't ask because it's not his concern and it's good for Il Hwan to have more skills.
The raid team doesn't relax even though they are just waiting near the Gate. Il Hwan might return anytime and the worst case is he returns with some monsters. So they need to stay on guard and are ready to fight anytime.
Thankfully, Il Hwan returns alone without taunting any monsters. But his expression isn't good, so there must be something worrying that he found inside.
"The monsters are Giant, just as Indra said. There are 20 of them and they are bigger than the Giants we found as bosses in A-Rank dungeons. I also think these Giants are much stronger than those bosses. I'm sure of it because I've fought a Giant dungeon boss. The pressure I felt from each one of the Giants here is stronger than that Giant boss I killed."
"20, huh? That's not a small number for Giants with power surpassing Giant A-Rank Bosses." Zhigang frowns when he thinks about how difficult it will be to face 20 Giants with such power.
"There are many of them, but it's still within our expectation since we knew that this dungeon is more dangerous than Kamish's dungeon. The problem is the boss. What about the boss, Mr. Il Hwan?" Dewi asks the most worrying question.
"That guy is a few times bigger than even those Giants. And don't ask about his power! I couldn't even enter the boss room because of the pressure from his magic power. It's not that I'm afraid. But I felt like I would get discovered as soon as I entered the room, so I retreated."
"How's the boss compared to Kamish?" Thomas asks what everyone wants to know as well.
"..... I feel like this one is stronger."
Il Hwan's answer is not something that they want to hear even though they've expected it because Indra has briefed them about it.
They had a small hope that what Indra said was wrong, but now they can only accept it as the truth because someone else feels the same.
"Alright, let's focus on the mobs first. Are they separated or gathering in the same place?"
"They are together. This dungeon is big, but it's not that deep and there's only 2 paths. The left path leads to the boss room and the mob Giants are gathering there in a much wider area than this place. The right path is narrower. It only has enough space for 2 Giants to walk side by side."
"So that's why they don't stay there. It doesn't have enough space for them to stay comfortably and they can't fight freely there." Reed nods while saying that.
"I believe so too. But we can't ignore this path. Inside this path, there are a ton of high-quality magic crystals along with things like mushrooms, moss, and other magical plantations that should be very useful for alchemy."
