64. Going Home

Originally, there were only 5 National Level Hunters. But now there are 11 of them.

Indra, Dewi, and Il Hwan were surely not even participating in the original timeline's raid. But the other 3 which are Norway's Ragnar, Ghana's Kwasi, and Egypt's Dina might be participating in the original timeline but were killed, giving the glory to just 5 people.

But now with more hands and especially Indra's participation, all of them are still alive and even managed to kill Kamish in less than a day. His buffs were so powerful and he even protected them from Kamish's deadly Fire Breath using his barrier.

Still, their contributions were very high in the raid, so they are granted the National Level Hunter ranks, all 11 of them.

This rank was created after a long discussion with many experts and even involved the United Nations.

There were a lot of considerations, but all of them agreed that these 11 Hunters have much higher power than average S-Ranks seeing how they still could fight and defeat the Dragon when 132 S-Rank Hunters couldn't even stand in front of the Dragon.

Keeping them as S-Ranks will actually cause a power imbalance because people will think that average S-Ranks are just as strong as these 11 which will put unwanted pressure on the S-Ranks all over the world.

So they created the National Level as the new rank because these 11 have the power that rivals Nations.

Being as powerful as Nations also means they will have authority at National level as well. After all, no Nation will be stupid enough to make an enemy out of them.

Indra smiles because he finally gets the National Level rank. It will make his plan move much smoother because this rank gives him the most freedom, much more free than S-Ranks.

Still, being a National Level doesn't mean they are Nations themselves. Maybe it's more correct to call them their countries' 2nd power after the military. But they surely have more freedom than the military that needs to obey all commands.

The new rank of Hunters becomes a hot-topic in the whole world. All 11 National Levels keep appearing on news and discussions about Hunters.

Talks about Hunters always gather a lot of attention from the public. They are the new idols in this new era. S-Rank Hunters easily become more famous than any celebrities in their countries now.

Even Indra and Dewi who almost never entertain the public are very famous in Indonesia. They get even more popular now that they become National Level Hunters.

Indonesian citizens are very happy their country has become one of the only 2 countries that have 2 National Level Hunters. Only the USA and Indonesia have 2 National Level Hunters, after all.

Even those who always criticize them start praising them now. The Government is also very relieved they changed the rules that Indra demanded before the siblings left for America.

If they didn't change it yet back then, the National Level siblings might truly leave their country immediately upon returning and every country out there will do everything to recruit the siblings.

The president even immediately calls Indonesia's Hunter Bureau Director to ask if he wants to move the Bureau's HQ to Bali, near the home of their National Level Hunters.

But the Director doesn't think that it's a good idea because it might disturb them, which they won't like. Rather than moving their HQ, it's better to just improve the branch in Bali to support the siblings better.
