73. 2nd S-Rank Dungeon

The raid team has slain the 11 Giant White Lionesses. But there are still more outside the barrier.

"What should we do? I don't think doing the previous strategy is good."

"I have an idea."

Jin Woo tells everyone his idea and they agree. They rest for a while to restore their energy even a little before doing their plan.

The monsters outside the barrier have stopped attacking because they know they can't break in by force now. So they are waiting for a chance.

But then Indra suddenly creates 10 barriers to isolate each of the 10 monsters. Now they can attack the monsters one by one.

Indra can't use his Binding Chains because he makes many barriers at once. Well, that's what he tells the hunters to still hide his real abilities.

He can create Binding Chains just fine and even fight these monsters alone if needed, but he still needs to hide his real power, and there's no need to expose them now because the others can do just fine with him only doing this much.

Indra opens a path between the main barrier with one of the monster cage barriers. The strategy is to let the monsters into the main barrier one by one and kill them.

It works really well even without Indra's chains holding the monsters because they just need to fight 1 monster at a time.

These Giant White Lionesses are stronger than A-Rank dungeon bosses, but not so much. Just around 2-3 times stronger, so it's still manageable for a team full of S-Ranks.

Indra doesn't even buff them this time to save his mana for the boss fight. Even the National Levels are not participating too much for the same reason.

Besides, the normal S-Ranks can defeat these monsters by themselves. It takes a while, but attacking just 1 monster at a time makes everything easier.

They can defend the monsters' physical attacks and Wind Magic attacks without much problem. Their attacks are also very powerful as most of them are damage dealers.

It doesn't take long for the 10 Giant White Lionesses to get wiped out. But there's no other monster coming, including the boss.

"Should we move deeper?"

"No. We can't see well with those bushes and trees still covering the deeper parts. The boss probably doesn't come out so it can use the environment to his advantage."

Higher ranking monsters are usually smarter than lower ranking ones. So it's not strange for an S-Rank dungeon boss to realize that coming out to fight them is a bad idea. Especially after 21 of its subordinates were killed.

"Maybe it can't leave its domain or something like that."

"That's usually not the case for field type dungeons. The bosses aren't trapped in a room like cave type dungeons. They can explore the dungeons anytime."

"It doesn't matter. We still need to find the boss. Let's burn the bushes again."

They burn the bushes that block their view again. Then after a while, they hear the powerful roar that they heard before. Just like before, some tornadoes appear again after the roar.

After the fire disappears, they feel the ground shaking. Then something comes out of the remaining bushes.

A giant male White Lion with blood red eyes shows up in front of them. It's twice the size of the Lionesses that were already as big as houses.

"That must be the boss."

"And its guards."

2 White Lionesses that are a little bigger than the previous Lionesses come out of the bushes slowly.
