80. Double S-Rank Gates

The world that has just celebrated the finding of Eternal Slumber's cure is facing another crisis.

2 S-Rank Gates appear at the same time in different countries. Australia and Russia.

Now it's not a matter of being able to hire the National Level Hunters or not. Both countries are wealthy enough to do that, but because the Gates appear at the same time, they need to split the force in half.

This means half of the National Level Hunters should raid a Gate and the other half raid the other Gate.

The splitting of the 11 National Level Hunters became a rather difficult matter, especially when they talked about Indra.

He is the only Healer among the National Level Hunters. His presence in the team is a game changer, especially with all his buffs, debuffs, healing, and barrier magic.

"I will go alone."

"What?!"

Indra surprises the other National Level Hunters by saying that he will go alone when they discuss how they will split the raid team members for the 2 S-Rank Gates through a video call.

"I will block a Gate alone, so you guys should raid the other Gate together."

"Huh? Are you crazy, Indra?"

"No, this is the best solution, Thomas. You guys know how strong my barrier is. I will block the Gate using my barrier so the monsters won't be able to leave even if they manage to break out of the Gate."

They won't have this problem if they can enter the Gate. However, both S-Rank Gates can't be entered, just like the 1st S-Rank Gate. That means they can only fight the monsters once the Gates break just like how they fight Kamish.

"We don't have better choices. This is the option with the highest success rate while minimizing the casualties as much as possible. Rather than half-assed raid teams, it's better to have a proper raid team for both dungeons. Just hire an S-Rank Healer for each one of you."

Another purpose of him not proposing this plan is because Indra wants the National Level Hunters to be aware of how dangerous S-Rank Gates are.

So far, they've been solving S-Rank Gates rather easily thanks to Indra's powerful support. But bow they won't have his support and will experience the true horror of an S-Rank Gate.

"Also, I heard that Russia has a Barrier Magic user too."

"You mean Yuri Orloff?"

"Yeah. That's why I think you guys can fight the monsters while that guy uses his barrier to prevent the monsters from getting out of the area."

"Will his barrier be able to stop S-Rank monsters like yours though?"
