The rest of the party wasn't fun anymore. After Andrew left her in that bathroom, she just couldn't stop thinking about everything he could've done had she told him to do it. She was shy though. Andrew already for this evening is intense, it's like he's sucking her in, making it harder for her to escape his bubble. His personal bubble space.
Now, she's stuck to his side. Of course, only this time, he's teasing her more. When he talks to people, he would snake his arm around her waist, and caress her hip. Then when he pulls away, he would grope her backside subtly, so no one would notice her yelps.
"So," Sean says, looking at her, making her put the second cup of alcohol she had down. "Aurelia, what made you come to my birthday party? Please don't tell me it's because of Drew."
"My boyfriend." She answers hesitantly, watching Vinny, who's nearby, glance at her before slowly turning his attention back to the girl he was talking to. She didn't like that look, she didn't like how he turned away either.
"Ah!" He cringes drunkenly before approaching her, but Drew made sure to stand between them, keeping his drunk friend inches apart from her. "Between you and me, you are too good for him."
Andrew rolls his eyes. "Come on, let's go get you some water."
He turns to her and leans to her ear. "Be a good angel and don't wander off. Yeah?"
Aurelia leans back glaring at him, making him wink at her. He finds this kind of thing amusing, he's like she likes him a lot. Otherwise, she would have walked the way the moment he said that. After receiving a wink from him, he leads Sean away from the area.
"So, you came because of him." Vinny whispers close to her ear, making her turn to look at him. "Here I thought you came to spend time with me."
"Vinny..." She murmurs, holding his hand pulling him to a space that was a tab bit empty, so they could speak. "I did come to spend time with you, it was a coincidence that the party you invited me to was my boyfriend's best friend's birthday party."
"God, I can't get used to that." He looks away, sipping his drink. "I had no knowledge that he was best friends with the guy who supposedly set him up."
Aurelia sighs and looks down. "Vinny, I'm sorry, okay. Sean was drunk anyway, it's not like he'll remember that."
Vinny puts his cup down and chuckles before a soft sigh past through. He opens his arms and she smiles before wrapping her arms around his neck. He lifts her from the floor, squeezing her in a tight hug before putting her back down.
"Come dance with me." He asks, taking her cup from her hand, and dragging her to the living room where the music was the loudest. He didn't even give her a chance to answer, but one dance wouldn't hurt, and who knows how long Andrew would be.
