"Holy shit." I gasp as I come out from behind the bar, seeing Tony's eyes remaining opened.

"You all right?" Rick asks me.

"Yeah." I answer.

"Hershel?" He asks. Hershel doesn't say a word, but he nods his head. Rick turns back to me, confirming if I was all right. But I could tell he was making sure that I was agreeing with his decision. I do. There wasn't anything else he could've done. Dave and Tony were dangerous. With the way they spoke, the way they gradually got angrier over the fact that they weren't getting what they wanted. I knew that if Rick pressed on and kept talking to them, they were gonna do everything they could, harming us or not, killing us or not, they'd try and get their way to the farm and take what they wanted. Maybe even hurting the women.

"Let's head back." Hershel announces. Rick lowers himself down and rummages through Tony's pockets, taking anything worth taking. I follow his lead, walking over to Dave and taking his gun for myself. I make my way straight through the bar, heading for the opening of the counter where I'd meet with Rick and Hershel. We all quickly move fast when a pair of headlights shine into the building. We press our bodies against the walls near the doors. A vehicle comes to a stop and we hear doors slamming shut, followed by voices.

"Dave? Tony?" A voice calls. It's two men, no three of them. "They said over here?"

"Yeah." The second man says.

"I'm telling you, man, I heard shots." The third says.

"I saw roamers." The second man claims. "Two streets over. Might be more around here."

"It's hot." The first man agrees. "We gotta get out of here."

"Dave! Tony!" The third calls.

"Shut up, you idiot!" The first guy silences. "You wanna attract 'em? Just stick close. We're gonna find 'em." We hear the wood creaking, right outside the doors.

"Dude, he said stay close." The second man calls. A few fast steps and the three men join together. I turn my head to the curtain-covered windows, seeing the silhouettes of the men slowly peaking around, looking for their men. Rick slowly pulls himself up on his feet. He presses his back against the wall, grabbing the curtain and peaking out. He pulls himself back down, moving over between Hershel and I.

"Why won't they leave?" I whisper.

"Would you?" Hershel asks.

"We can't sit here any longer." Rick says. "Let's head out the back and make a run to the car." We all agree with the plan and move together. We could barely get three steps in before we hear gunshots outside. We drop back to the ground, pressing our backs to the walls once again. A few moments go by, and we hear the voices.

"What happened?"

"Roamers, I nailed 'em."

"They disappeared but their car's still here."

"I cleared those buildings. You guys get this one?"

"No."

"Me neither."

"We're looking for Dave and Tony and no one checks the damn bar?" My heart drops as the footsteps approach the door. Rick cocks his gun and I turn to the door right beside me. The door opens up, but I quickly throw myself against it, slamming it shut.

"What?" The third man asks.

"Someone pushed it shut." The second man says. "There's someone in there."
