"Not her proudest moment."

I open my eyes and look around me. I find myself lying in a bed, inside Hershel's home. I inhale deeply, bringing my arm up and finding it to be wrapped up with white bandages, turned into paste to create a cast.

"Hey." I turn my head and find Glenn sitting in the chair next to the bed. It's dark outside. I glance at the clock and see if to be almost 9pm. I lift my head from the pillows. "You should take it easy." Glenn warns me. I felt a sudden pinch to my arm. I look down and see a needle inserted into my arm, the tube running along the side of the bed and going up. An IV. Hershel's really with the shits here.

"Where's Daryl?" I ask him, remembering everything that happened today.

"He's in the other room. He's fine, he's resting." Glenn reassures me. I slightly sink down, feeling a bit relieved. "Do you remember what happened?" He asks.

"Yeah, we got back to the farm, I remember you, but that was it." I explain. Glenn nods.

"Well, we all thought you two were walkers. So we came up, ready to kill you. But Daryl started talking and we realized you were still alive." I give him a nod. "Well, Andrea, not so much. She took a shot from the RV. Grazed the side of Daryl's head."

"Ouch." I utter. He nods.

"Not her proudest moment." He says.

"But you said he's okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, yeah. He's doing great." He reassures me. "He told us what happened to you guys. Horse threw you both off, fell down a cliff. That's how you broke your arm, right?" He asks.

"Yeah." I nod. "I'm not sure what spooked the horse. But something did." I explain.

"Hershel said they call it Nelly, as in Nervous Nelly." He begins. "Daryl took the horse without asking. If he bothered to ask, Hershel would've warned him not to take Nelly. And I guess, well, none of this would've happened." I huff out a small chuckle, shaking my head.

"Why am I not surprised?" I utter. Glenn chuckles, nodding his head.

"Lori and Carol helped you out. They gave you a shower so you could wake up feeling clean and not so disgusting." He adds. I was oddly relieved to wake up seeing myself cleaned up. Is it weird that Lori and Carol gave me a literal shower while I was passed out? It's a bit weird. But they're women, too. They've got boobs and vaginas. I don't feel like they did anything to harm me. Maybe because I trust both of them so much. Either way, I felt grateful for what they've done for me when I was clearly incapable of doing it myself.

"Oh." He pulls himself forward from the chair, grabbing a plate and setting it down on the bed beside me. "Dinner's ready. Lori, Carol, most of the women made it." He says. I grab onto the plate and began downing the food. I hadn't realized how hungry I was til I saw the food sitting on the plate.

"How do you feel?" Glenn asks as I ate most of everything.

"Pretty good." I nod. "After getting some sleep, I feel a lot better." I nod.

"Good. That's good." He nods.

"Wanna go for a walk?" I ask him. He furrows his brows.

"Hershel really wants you to rest." He warns.

"Then we ask Hershel. It's just a little walk. You'll be with me in case anything happens." I explain. Glenn nods his head.

"Let me go ask him." He says. He stands up from the chair and exits out of the room. A few moments pass and Glenn returns with Hershel.
