As time went by, we continued working, separating walkers from our people. Amy had come back. She was close to biting Andrea, but Andrea was quick to out her down with her gun. We were soon all relieved. It was then time to bury Amy and the others. Shane had driven the truckload to the area where Jim was digging the holes. It was as good a place as any other, right? I mean, Jim was digging the holes for a reason. And here we are. Burying them. Andrea wanted to make sure she was the one to lay Amy down. But thankfully Dale was there to help her out, and she allowed him to do so. He then helped her out of the hole and she stands off to the side, silently crying.

Daryl and Shane remain behind and lay the rest of the bodies down as the rest of us returned back to camp. Eventually, Rick had joined them in burying the rest.

Now the only thing to focus on now is Jim. Is the CDC the best choice for Jim. Will there be a chance for him? Rick is highly convinced that we head to there to give Jim the best chance of survival he's got. Maybe it'll work. Maybe it won't. But we're all terrified. What happens if we head to the city and we get swarmed with walkers? What happens if everyone dies? That's the end of it all, right?

Rick, Shane and Dale had gone off to do a sweep around the woods, looking for any signs of more walkers and such. Once they've returned, we were all surrounded by the campfire.

"I've been, uh-I've been thinking about Rick's plan." Shane begins. "Now look, there are no-there are no guarantees either way. I'll be the first one to admit that. I've known that man for a long time. I trust his instincts. I say the most important thing here is we need to stay together. So those of you that agree, we leave first thing in the morning. Okay?" Without another word, everyone begins to disperse.

Glenn and I had entered the tent and prepared everything for tomorrow's journey. We began packing our bags, hoping to keep light and make sure everything is spacious to keep everyone comfortable.

After packing everything up, we finally lay our heads down. Everything was quiet. Dark. Crickets chirped and the leaves blew with the wind lightly. Glenn reaches over and turns the lantern off. I roll onto my back and let out a sigh, placing my head on my forehead.

"Nervous for tomorrow?" Glenn asks me. I lightly shake my head.

"I don't know. Maybe." I answer him. "Just a bit anxious to see what the CDC gives us tomorrow. If it's even still standing. Are you nervous?" I throw his question back to him. I hear Glenn inhale deeply.

"I don't know." He lightly shakes his head. "Anything can happen once we get there. The place could be swarmed with walkers. The military could be inside, just waiting to open fire on us, as they'd take precautions of anyone being sick or infected, you know."

"Maybe it's a safe haven." I utter softly.

"I guess we'll find out tomorrow." He says. I hear him shuffle around before silence fills the tent. I turn onto my side and eventually falls asleep.

The next morning, Glenn and I awake bright and early. We load up our bags into the RV. Rick and Shane figured that we'd keep the tents up. If there are anyone else in the area that might need the help of needing shelter, they'd have an assortment to pick from. Although, they wouldn't advise staying in the area for too long as the walkers could come by at any given moment.

"All right, ya'll. Listen up." Shane begins. "Those of you with CBs, we're gonna be on channel 40. Let's keep the chatter down, okay? Now you got a problem, don't have a CB, can't get a signal or anything at all, you're gonna hit your horn one time. That'll stop the caravan. Any questions?"
