"Don't forget where we are."

It was a bittersweet moment for us all. We were all thankful that Dale and Andrea had made it back to us safety. Making it on time like that was insane. If they waited for a few more seconds, maybe they would've died within the facility or just outside the window and getting blasted. It was sad as we didn't get Jacqui back. I understand her reasoning behind it, I do. But to me, it feels like she herself had lost hope. She didn't have enough to want to fight her way to survive. She didn't want to stay with us and fight and have a second chance. Jenner was the one who gave us a second chance and we were fast to take it. It's what we wanted. How could we not? He said the doors wouldn't open, but he still gave us a fighting chance.

Most of us are quiet for the moment, still processing what we had just escaped. But we were all questioning the same thing; what's our next move?

"Rick, any idea on what we're gonna do now?" Dale asks Rick as he continues to drive the RV down the road, Shane, Daryl and Carol driving behind us.

"It occurs to me we have some friends in this town." Rick says. "What do you think, Glenn?" Glenn's face turns into a smile, mostly excited.

"Yeah!" He agrees.

"It would buy us some time." Rick claims. "A night or two til we figure out what we're gonna do."

"A-A-The nursing home." Glenn quickly begins. "Guillermo and his people."

"The who took you hostage?" Dale questions.

"We parted on good enough terms." Rick nods his head.

"And good enough to blow me over with good confidence." Dale utters.

"You weren't there. You-You didn't see the way Rick handled things." Glenn shakes his head. "They're our friends. They'll take us in." He smiles excitedly.

Rick parks the RV on the side of a building. As we all walk out of the RV, we could see mostly trees and overgrowings of vegetation covering the walls of this place. There's most tossed out furniture and things, it looks mostly a mess here.

"Bet they'er barely hanging on." Andrea frowns. "What makes you think they're taking strangers?"

"With all the guns we gave 'em, they'll probably throw us a party." Daryl claims. Rick, Shane, Glenn and Daryl all lead the way. We walk through some holes in the walls, entering different parts of the nursing home. I was assure we hadn't made it there, mostly walking through their perimeter of their base.

We enter an area walled in with brick walls. There are tall posts that looked over the walls, but they're empty. Glenn slows in his tracks, looking at Rick and Daryl.

"Where are the lookouts?" He questions. We walk around a corner and find a few walkers chewing on some dead bodies lying around the ground. Lori and Carol are quick to cover the kids faces, protecting them from the horrifying sight. This seemed like it had just happened. All the dead bodies the walkers are eating seem fresh. It couldn't have been at least a day.

"Kira." Rick whispers to me. He points up and I give him a nod. I pull out my gun, turning the safety off and aiming downwards as I moved along with Rick, Glenn, Shane and Daryl. All the walkers turn their attention to us and we knew were going to have to put them down.

"To hell with the noise." Rick grits his teeth. If there were only a few, maybe less than five, we'd use our knives. We're deep within the city. Shooting off rounds here will only draw more and more walkers to our backs. Using our guns in this moment, it's safer for us and faster. Like Rick said, to hell with the noise, this is safer for us.
