"Horses?"

After the funeral, Hershel had pointed out to where we could all set up camp. Right in the front yard, between the trees. It was a bit of a spacious camp, but not entirely. Glenn and I worked away at setting up the sets, setting up the campfire where we'd make breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lori and Carol set up the laundry area, securing a line for us to hang the clothes when they're drying.

Shane, Rick, Daryl and Andrea are meeting together with Hershel and Maggie. Hershel wanted to help out in some way to find Sophia. Later, Daryl and Shane, Andrea and Carol are going to gather up some supplies and set up something for Sophia to find and stay put in case she made her way back to the highway. It's a good plan. It's a good idea. If she makes it back, she'll see the sign, get in the car with blankets, food, a flashlight, she'll need everything to be comfortable until we check on her.

"Kira, Glenn." Glenn and I pause our task at the sound of Rick. We drop what we're doing and walk over to Rick, Maggie and Hershel. "This is Glenn and Kira. Our go-to-town experts. If there's anything we need, you need, these are the ones to do it. In and out, no problem."

"We are running low on supplies. We could make a run into town." Maggie says.

"Not the place where Shane went." Rick furrows his brows at her.

"Not there. There's a place just a mile up the road." Maggie explains. Hershel looks down.

"If Glenn and Kira are able to handle it, I'd rather have them do the supply runs." Hershel claims.

"We are pretty experienced." Glenn reassures Hershel. "We're your guys." Hershel nods.

"I've done it, too, Dad. I can go with 'em." Maggie calls.

"If she can do it, there's nothing wrong with her joining us." I shrug at Hershel. More people, the better. More backs, more supplies to carry." Hershel turns his head to Maggie.

"They're more experienced than you, honey. I understand you wanna do more for us. And I've always appreciated your hard work around here. But let them handle it. If there's any trouble, I'd feel more comfortable if they handled it. Not after Otis, not so soon. No offense." Glenn and I shake our heads.

"None taken." Glenn says.

"I'll go saddle up the horses." She says and walks away. Glenn and I furrow our brows and immediately locked eyes.

"Horses?" Glenn asks. We finish up our task until Maggie had returned with our rides down to town.

"Glenn, Kira." We turn our heads and find Lori approaching us. She greets us with a smile. "I, uh, overheard you're going on a run. I've asked everyone if they needed anything, so here's the list." She hands Glenn the list. "And, uh, there's another one. It's personal, if we could be real discreet about that, okay?" She hands me the other list, Glenn and I looking over it. I raise my brows at the items she needed.

"Oh." I utter.

"Uh, what is it?" Glenn asks.

"Kinda missing the point of the whole discreet thing, Glenn." Lori nervously smiles.

"Oh, right." He nods. "W-Where are we gonna be able to find these?" He asks.

"Try the feminine hygiene section." Lori calls.

"I know where to look and what to get." I tell her, waving my hand off at her so she wouldn't have to worry about it.

"Thank you." Lori says softly and disappears. I inhaled deeply, looking down at the list again. Lori possibly being pregnant? Now during this time? If she is, I can't imagine the fear that's running through her. I understand her and Rick were a greatly happy to see each other. Maybe a little too happy. It's like Rick was off at war and they were extremely happy to see each other. But also...Shane and Lori were kind of a thing, too. I remember being back at the camp, Lori and Shane would 'discreetly' disappear off together. Who's to say it could be Shane's baby?
