"Hi, Kira."

Kira

A lot has happened. Rick, Glenn and Hershel never made it back last night. Not only that, but when dinner came around, Lori ended up missing. We all ditched dinner and searched the farm. Carol had came back with information from Daryl. She had asked him to run into town and bring them back, but soon came to the conclusion that Lori must've went after them herself. Shane had left the farm to go find Lori. The pair returned, but Lori grew angry with Shane, angry that he lied to her about Rick being back. And the secret got out. Carl found out his mother was pregnant and he didn't seem as happy. Lori was frozen. She didn't know what to do. Thankfully, Andrea pulled her away and went to help her clean up. She had crashed Maggie's car, looking down at the map to find the bar and she hit a walker.

By morning, Shane, Daryl and I geared up. Beth was getting worse it seemed. Patricia had given her another IV just to be on the safe side. Shane, Daryl and I stood at the trunk of the green car, putting in supplies. I will admit, throughout the night I was worried for Glenn and Rick. But part of me was relieved when Daryl wanted me to go with him and Shane to go after them. Even then we turn our heads to an engine revving and we see a red truck speeding down the dirt path.

The truck pulls right up to the house and the engine shuts off. The drivers side door opens and we see Rick getting out. Carl stumbles over his feet as he crashes into his father's arms, hugging him tightly. Rick approaches Lori, inspecting her accident injuries, questioning what she had done. She admits her small adventure and Rick frowns at her. Maggie rushes over to Hershel, wrapping her arms tightly around him as Patricia takes a few steps down from the stairs.

"Patricia prepare the shed for surgery." Hershel calls. The rest of us fall confused at his words. For a moment, I panic, wondering why the hell Glenn hadn't gotten out yet. I make my way over to Rick, wanting, no, demanding answers.

"Where the hell is he? He's not with you? Where did he go? Where is he? Is-Is he safe? Is he hurt? Where the hell is Glenn?"

"Kira, Kira." Rick softly calls to me, holding his hand up.

"Kira." I turn my head and find Glenn climbing out the truck, leaving the door open. Relief washes over me as I realized he stood right there in front of me.

"Kira." Rick calls again. I wanted to jump into Glenn's arms and feel him breathing against my skin. "There was...well, there's someone who's wants to see you." He says. I furrow my brows.

"He's right there." I say, shaking my head. "I'm not blind. I can clearly see-"

"Kira?" I turn my head to the familiar voice. The figure climbs out of the truck, moving behind Glenn before stopping beside him. His brown and green eyes grow wide and his chest moves up and down rapidly. Tears brim my eyes, thousands of thoughts fill my head. Part of me fell into complete denial. There was no possible way he was standing right there. Right in front of me alive. How was this possible? I had found him before. We...We never got to bury him, but I found his body. How could this be?

He approaches me slowly and stops, his figure towering over me. I tilt my head to the side, shaking my head. I blink the tears away as I slowly raise my hand up. I gently press my palm against his cheek and seems to breathe out softly, as if he waited his whole life to feel my touch against his skin. He looked...different. He has a beard now. It's not long, it's...clean. His hair grew out. If this were the real world, I'd tell him it was time for him to get a trim again. He never liked his hair long, nor did he like it too short. He always liked it full. And when it was full, he liked to say that it made it seem like his hair was thick. He's a little dirty, but he doesn't smell either. After all this time of being apart, he still managed to keep himself well-kept.
