I had no idea when I started falling in love till the day he came up to me right after I called him up. I was completely shattered that day when the car followed me. It felt like my childhood's incident was on a loop. It was getting repeated.

Flashback:

I was coming back from school. The day was all tiresome with so many classes. Yes, I was in the second standard but it was hectic for me. But my family was the happiest family I had ever seen till then. Mom would always get up early to pack lunch for dad and me, even though she was pregnant with my little baby sister. Since the last few days, she has been acting all weird. She would come up to dad and start a fight with him. They would send me out of the room. My brother would find me crying and console me by saying that it would be over soon, but it never ended.

My mind was shattered with the thoughts when I suddenly felt a car pull over beside me. Two men in black suit came out and dragged me inside. I started shouting but it was all in vain because it was an empty alley. They made me smell something from a handkerchief and that was it that I remember.

As I opened my eyes slowly, I found myself in a dark room, rather a basement kind of area. The basement had a lot of stuffs in there. There was a boxing bag, a rugged sofa, few steel chairs, few rods, few wooden cartons and a pole to which I was tied. My head was paining severely. I have no idea what they had made me inhale which lead to this condition.

Suddenly I could hear someone speaking on phone, "She has not been awake since the last forty-eight hours, if she continues like this, it might be possible that after few hours she'll be dead. If she wakes up it's well and good, otherwise we will have to dump the body somewhere."

My eyes widened at the thought that I would be buried alive. I had to think of something when this sudden basic idea came to my mind to untie myself. I tried hard but failed. The rope was so tightly secured that it wasn't possible for me to open it up. I was thirsty like hell. I understood in a hard way how much important it was to drink water. My mother would nag around every single time for me to drink water but I never listened to her.

I was wrong!! I miss her. I miss my mother, my bhai, my sweet little sister inside my mom's belly and especially my dad! I was always called a "daddy's girl" for a reason. I love him more than I can love anyone else in this world.

Suddenly, I was pulled out of the trance when someone entered the room. It was a man in his thirties. He came up to me and untied me slowly. I kept pretending to sleep just to let him untie me. As soon as he untied me, I bit his wrist. He shrieked in pain when I ran to the only stairs that I could see. It was like a never ending staircase. I kept running. Those foot steps behind me started getting louder. It was not a sound of a single man's footsteps but of many others. I don't have any idea how many people were there but I kept running. I started breathing heavily.
