The Flower and Major

Part 9

I sat in the passenger seat of Jasper's Mustang. His hand rested on my thigh as he sped down the road. Following close behind us was Edward and Bella in Edward's Volvo. I was convinced that they were racing. Jasper turns into a driveway that was hidden slightly in the forest. I gawked slightly at the beautiful house. It seemed to be made of mostly windows.

"It's beautiful." I whispered to Jasper as he parked the car.

"We don't have to hide here." Jasper smiled. "Esme's the one that designed it."

I smiled as he climbed out of the car and vamp sped to my side opening the door for me. I grinned taking his hand climbing out of the car also. I turned to Bella and Edward and laughed at Bella's shocked face. I let out a scream as Jasper lifted me from the ground running into the house. I playfully glared at him once he set me down. 

He laughed pulling me in for a kiss before throwing his arm across my shoulders leading me upstairs. Bella and Edward wasn't far behind in their own little conversation. We walked into the kitchen to see his family cooking. Luckily Jasper warned me about this so I didn't eat. Bella unfortunately did. I raised a brow at Emmett who waved with the knife at us. 

"Bella, Lily!" A beautiful woman with a heart shaped face smiled. "We're making Italiano for you!" 

"This is Esme our Mother for all intents and purposes." Edward explained to us.

"You gave us an excuse to use the kitchen." Carlisle smiled.

"She already ate." Edward groaned. 

There was a sound of shattering glass. I turned to see Rosalie glaring at Bella.

"Great." Rosalie hissed. 

"It's just, I know you guys don't eat." Bella says embarrassed. 

"That's very considerate of you." Esme smiled a bit sad.

"Jasper told me not to eat." I grinned at the woman. "So I'll definitely be eating." 

Esme smiled brightly at me her eyes lighting up. I leaned into Jasper's side smiling. 

"Just ignore Rosalie, I do." Edward says to Bella.

"Rude." I glared at the mind reader. 

"Yeah, let's just pretend this isn't dangerous for all of us." Rosalie snapped as Emmett walked over placing his arm on her shoulder. 

"We would never tell anyone anything." Bella says.

"Not my secret to tell." I shrugged. 

"She knows that." Carlisle says holding Esme to his side. 

"Yeah, the problem is." Emmett says motioning to the four of us. "The four of you have gone public now, so..." 

"Emmett." Esme chided. 

"No, they should know." Rosalie says. "The entire family will be implicated if this ends badly." 

"Badly as in we become the meal." Bella says. 

"Bells, Sweetie, they don't drink human blood." I snorted at my sister. 

The Cullen's snicker except for Rosalie who seemed pissed off. Before I spotted Alice climbing through the window from a tree branch with Maggie not far behind. 

"Hi, Lily, Bella." She grinned skipping over.

I smiled as she passed me a bunch of daisies before hugging me. She then skipped over to Bella handing her a bunch of wild flowers hugging Bella. 

"Oh, you do smell good." She grinned at her. 

"Alice." Edward says embarrassed as I laughed.

"Don't worry Edward, we're gonna be great friends. The three of us, but Miss. Lily is gonna be the closest with Rosalie." Alice grinned. 

Edward took Bella away to tour the rest of the house while Jasper picked me up and literally set me down at the island in front of Emmett, who had a knife.

"I don't trust him." I say eyeing the knife.

Emmett playfully glared at me causing me to glare back before my eyes glazed over. My whole body went rigid as if I was having a dream. 

~3rd Person~

Emmett's eyes widened at the far away look in the human's eyes as she went rigid. Alice hurriedly placed a piece of paper in front of her and put a pencil in her hand. Lily's hand started to fly across the paper at an inhuman speed.

"Her gifts are becoming more prominent." Alice says to her family. "Jasper, hasn't she been having dreams of things that could happen." 

"Yes." Jasper nodded. "It's as if her visions of the future are set in stone unlike yours." 

Rosalie walked over to see what the human was drawing. Her eyes widened seeing it was Bella and Lily laying on a floor looking almost dead, faces contorted in pain. In the image you could see Bella with a bloody wrist and Lily with a bloody shoulder. Soon Lily stopped drawing and blinking rapidly.

"Suga?" Jasper asked gently placing his hand on her shoulder.

Lily let out a cry gripping and clawing at her chest. She couldn't breathe. Carlisle rushed over to the young human girl gently spinning her around in the chair.

"Lily, I need you to focus on my eyes." Carlisle says. "Can you do that for me darling?"

Lily gave a meek nod as Jasper stood there feeling hopeless. 

"Can you tell me five things you can see?" He asked. 

"You're gold eyes." Lily whimpered. "Your blonde hair, Jasper, Rosalie, Esme."

"Good job Sweetheart." Carlisle smiled. "Four things you can touch." 

"Your hair is really soft." She says as she reached up and stroked his hair causing him to chuckle. "Jazzy, the seat, my skirt." 

"You're doing great honey." He says. "Three things you can hear." 

"The cooking show, you, and pacing steps." Lily says.

"That's good." Carlisle smiled. "Two things you can smell?"

"Pasta, it smells really good." She says. "Jasper's cologne." 

"Good and one thing you can taste." Carlisle asked as Jasper spooned a forkful of pasta into his mates mouth.

She chewed before swallowing. "Pasta, it's really good. Thank you for helping me." 

Carlisle smiled petting the young girls dyed hair. "Of course." He smiled. 

Lily was terrified of what she had seen in her vision but she pushed it to the back of her mind as she ate the pasta Esme made.
