The Flower and Major

Part 37

"Alice is going to yell at you." I sighed to my sister from the driver's seat of my new car.

"I know." Bella sighed. "It's wedding jitters." 

I pulled into the Cullen driveway shutting off the car. We both climb out before heading inside. I smiled at Esme as she handed us both breakfast burritos with kisses on the cheeks. I lead Bella upstairs to Alice and Maggie's room. As soon as we entered Alice was pulling Bella into a chair.

"What did I say about beauty sleep?" Alice complained.

"Sorry." Bella mumbled. "Bad dream. It was wedding jitters." 

"Do you need some help?" Rosalie asked as she walked into the room. "I could do her hair." 

"Really?" Bella says wide eyed as I smiled.

"Please." Rose says with a slight smile. "I'm not offended by your choice of groom." 

"Just my blatant of respect for mortality." Bella says.

"Essentially." Rosalie says.

"Weddings." Alice says. "They bring everyone together." 

"Alice? Bella?" I heard Mother call out. 

"On that note." I say. "I'm going to get ready and find my husband." 

I kissed Bella's hair before leaving the room shouldering past Renee who scoffed. I give Dad a kiss on the cheek before I make my way to Jasper and I's room. I smiled seeing Jasper standing in front of the full body mirror finishing buttoning up his shirt.

I walked over taking his white bow-tie from the stand as he turned around to me. He smiled down at me as I put it on him tying it. I press both of my hands to his chest kissing him. 

"I love you, Mr. Hale." I whispered.

"I love you, Mrs. Hale." He smirked.

I pulled away grabbing the dress Alice had bought and started changing. I grinned over my shoulder as Jasper zipped it up for me with a kiss to my shoulder. I took a seat at the vanity Alice ended up putting in here. I did some light makeup and pinned my hair back a bit.

"You look beautiful, darlin'." Jasper says as I slipped on my gold heels. 

"Thank you handsome." I say with a smile.

We walked out of our room only to bump into Royal Hale. Jasper gave him a smile.

"Hello, Royal." I say.

"I was looking to speak with you, Lily." Royal says.

"Sure, we can talk in mine and Jasper's room." I say stepping aside to let him in. 

Jasper and I walked in sitting on the bed. Royal sat in the chair by the bed. 

"I knew you found me, Lily." He says. "You're an allpower. I was looking for you and Rose."

"Why were you looking for me?" I questioned. 

"I'm what you call a protector." He says. "I was born to protect the allpower no matter what." 

"Oh, wow." I said. "What does that entail?" 

"Well, right now I have a faint feelings of when you're in danger." Royal says. "But once you change it will be in full force and I'll teleport to you immediately." 

I gave him a smile before Angela poked her head in the door. 

"Jasper, Lily." She smiled. "It's time." 

We stood up heading out the room. I smiled as Royal wrapped his arm around Angela's shoulders kissing her temple. I smiled teary eyed once I saw Dad and Bella. Bella smiled brightly at me before Alice flicked me with a playful glare.
