I stood in Jasper's arms on the back deck with the rest of the family along with Jacob, Quil, and Embry. The party was still going on inside.
"How long?" Edward asked.
"They'll be here in four days." Alice says.
"This could turn into a blood bath." Carlisle sighed.
"Who's behind it?" I asked.
"I didn't see anyone I recognized." Alice glanced at me. "Maybe one."
"I know his face." Edward says reading Alice's mind. "Riley Biers."
I tense slightly in Jasper's arms. He presses a kiss to my hair.
"He didn't start this, though." Edward says.
"Whoever did is staying out of action." Alice sighed.
"They must be playing with the blind spots in your vision." Carlisle sighed before turning to me. "Have you seen anything about this, Lily?"
"No, main things I've been seeing is Bella's future and mine." I say blocking my mind from Edward.
He didn't need to know that Bella was going to say yes. He has to find out himself.
"Either way, the army is coming." Jasper sighed.
"There isn't enough of us to protect the town." Maggie added.
"Hold up." Jacob says causing me to roll my eyes. "What damn army?"
Carlisle looked towards Edward who shook his head before turning to me which I nodded.
"Newborns." Carlisle says. "Our kind."
"What are they after?" Embry asked.
"They're passing around the twins' scents." Alice says. "Bella's red blouse and Lily's leather jacket."
"I thought I lost that." I huffed. "Fucking thieves."
"They're after the twins?" Embry asked shocked.
"What the hell does this mean?" Jacob asked.
"It means an ugly fight with lives lost." Carlisle explained.
"Alright." Jacob says smirking at me. "We're in."
I smirked right back.
"No, you'll get yourselves killed." Bella protested. "No way."
"I wasn't asking for permission." Jacob snapped.
"Edward." Bella protested.
"It means more protection for you two." Edward says.
"Lily."
"Bells, I've literally watched them tear apart a vampire." I say. "they'll be fine."
"Jacob." Bella whined.
"Do you believe Sam will agree to an understanding?"
"As long as we get to kill some vampires." Jacob says.
"Plus Sam's pretty protective over Lily." Embry added.
"Jasper, Maggie?" Carlisle turned to the two of them.
"They'll give us numbers." Maggie grinned.
"And the newborns won't know they even exist." Jasper says. "That'll give them an edge."
"Carlisle, Lily, they're gonna get hurt." Bella whined.
"Oh my God, Isabella Marie, shut the hell up before I make you." I snapped effectively shutting her up.
