Lily's POV

I stood a bit behind my twin as she knelt on the sandy ground potting a small barrel cactus. This is our very last few minutes we have in Phoenix before we set off to Forks, Washington to live with our Father for the remainder of high school. The main reason for our move was so our Mother, Renee could travel with her new younger husband, Phil. He's a minor league baseball player. Bella and I could see the sacrifice in our Mother's eyes when he would leave.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as I saw my twin trip and fall face first on the ground with a grunt. The thing about Bella is she's very clumsy. I huffed a little laugh before making my way toward her to help her from the ground. She had mumbled something that I didn't quite catch as I steadied her on her two feet.

"You alright, Bell?" I asked her.

"Yeah." She said "I just tripped like usual."

I giggled shaking my head slightly at her. Sometimes I just have the feeling of wrapping her in bubble wrap. Suddenly a cellphone was thrust into our faces. The hand holding it was our Mothers. She had her eyebrows scrunched together.

"It won't work again babies." Mom said with a frown.

"It's your turn." I say to my twin. "I'm going to go see if Phil needs any help."

I turned on my heel walking into the home Bella and I grew up in after Mom left Dad. I spot Phil walking out of my bedroom with something in his hands. He smiled at me holding it out.

"You almost forgot him." He chuckled.

"Grumpy." I squeaked taking the Care Bear from Phil's hand snuggling close to it. "I can't believe I almost forgot him! Thank you Phil."

I gave Phil a quick side hug before following him out of the house. I smiled at Mom and Bella who were laughing. I walked over to them and right into my Mother's arms. I was going to miss her. Bella and I have never really been separated from our Mother for more than two weeks. Mom wrapped her arms tightly around me while she petted my hair.

"I'll miss you." I mumbled into her chest.

"I'll miss you too, baby." She says. "The both of you. You don't have to go, I can stay home."

"No, Mom." I say pulling away. "You and Phil never had a real honeymoon, so think of it as one, plus even though Bella detests Forks we need to spend time with Dad."

Mom sighed kissing my forehead causing me to smile holding grumpy closer to my chest.

"I love you three but the Swan Twins got a plane to catch!" Phil called out from the station wagon.

Mom let out a sad sigh looping each of her arms through Bella and I's leading us to the car.

Bella and I exited the airport in Port Angeles. We were searching for Dad. My eyes scanned the parking lot before they landed on a very familiar man in a police uniform leaning against a cruiser. Dad! I took off running toward him with my bags in my hands once I was close enough I let them drop and literally jumped into Dad's arms.

"Dad!" I grinned as he hugged me to his chest.

"My little Flower!" Dad laughed twirling us around as I giggled.

Once Dad set me down Bella stumbled over tripping and landing in Dad's arms who easily caught her causing both Dad and I to chuckle. They awkwardly hug before pulling away.

"Hey, Bells." Dad smiled.

"Hey Char-Dad." Bella corrected herself.

"How's your Mother?" Dad asked as he loaded our stuff into the trunk.
