The Flower and Major

Part 40

I sat with Bella on the couch in a pair of leggings and one of Jasper's shirts. Bella's bump had grown drastically while I just looked about six or seven months along. Edward was avoiding Bella like the plague while Alice sided with him instead of her best friend. It seemed the house was split in half. Royal, Angela, Rose, Emmett, Jasper, and Esme were sided with our decision. The rest sided with killing our children, mainly Bella's. Carlisle of course took no sides at all. 

My head snapped up hearing a faint knock on the door. Carlisle sighed getting up from where he was seated to answer the door. I stood from my seat on the sofa rubbing my bump. Jasper was at my side in an instant. 

"It's okay, handsome." I say patting his hand. "I just really need to pee." 

Jasper chuckled leading me to the downstairs bathroom. I closed the door behind me as I quickly did my business before washing my hands. I walked out of the bathroom frowning at the tense atmosphere. Jacob was glaring at Edward with a irate fury while Paul looked on in shock. 

"Jacob." I growled thrusting my hand outward causing him to tumble back on his ass. "Calm your ass down." 

"You too!" Jacob growled. "Pregnant with a monster?"

Jasper was holding him up by his throat in an instant seething at him. Paul slowly made his way over to me with shock on his face. I smiled slightly at him. 

"You don't look as sick as your sister." He says. 

"It's due to my allpower thing." I say.

"We didn't know it was possible." Carlisle says grabbing Jasper's shoulder. 

"Jazz, drop him." I say gently as Paul helped me sit down. 

"What is it?" Jacob asked.

"I'm not sure." Carlisle sighed. "Ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate Bella's embryonic sac while it seems Lily is just having a rushed pregnancy." 

"I can't see it either." Alice spoke up causing me to glare at her. "And I can't see Bella's future anymore." 

"We've been researching legends, but there isn't much to go on." Carlisle says. "What we do know is that it's strong. And fast growing." 

"Why haven't you done anything?" Jacob growled. "Take it out of them!" 

"This is none of your business dog!" Rosalie snarled.

"Pain." I whispered.

Jacob fell to his knees screaming in pain. I lost focus when I felt Bella tap my arm gently.

"Rose, Lily!" Esme chided. "All this fighting isn't good for Bella or you, Lily." 

"The fetus isn't good enough for them." Alice snapped.

I shot my hand out making Alice fly backwards against the wall.

"Say the word, Alice." Rosalie snapped. "Baby. It's just two little babies." 

"Possibly." Maggie huffed.

"I seen my child." I growled at her. "I seen them being the perfect mixture of Jasper and I." 

"Carlisle, you've gotta do something." Jacob pleaded.

"No." Bella finally spoke up. "It's not his decision. It's not any of yours." 

"Jacob, I need to talk to you." Edward says.

"Jasper, can you take me to our room?" I asked. "I don't want to deal with the drama anymore."

Jasper and Paul helped me up from the couch leading me upstairs. Once we were in our room they helped me onto the bed and I laid down tiredly.
