Minji slammed her bedroom door closed, the sound echoing through the quiet house. She tossed her suit jacket to the floor and rushed into the connecting bathroom.

Turning on the shower, she stepped beneath the ice-cold spray, the frigid water shocking her senses as it washed away the heat of her earlier feelings. Leaning back against the bathroom wall, she closed her eyes, letting the water cascade over her. She had almost... almost... crossed a line with Hanni.

Damn it, just thinking about Hanni's blushing face, her teary expression, and the way she bit her lips...

Minji turned back to the cold spray of the shower, desperately hoping the icy water would extinguish the flames of longing and regret that burned within her.

Meanwhile in the living room, Hanni sat on the sofa, her gaze fixed on the tightly closed door. The echo of her wife's outburst replayed in her mind like a haunting melody, each word cutting deeper than the last, a jagged reminder of the raw vulnerability they had just shared. It left her feeling exposed, as if the very fabric of her being was laid bare. The weight of unspoken feelings pressed down on her, heavy and suffocating, as she struggled to process the whirlwind of emotions that had unfolded between them.

With a soft sigh, Hanni slipped off her other high heel, revealing her delicate feet. The coolness of the floor sent a shiver up her spine, and she stood up, intending to retreat upstairs. But as she moved, the hem of her dress brushed against her medicine-covered right foot, a gentle reminder of Minji's tender care.

Recalling how her wife had meticulously applied the medicine earlier, Hanni couldn't bear to waste Minji's hard work. She bent down, lifting her long skirt to reveal her smooth legs, determination coursing through her as she continued her ascent up the stairs. Each step felt heavier, the weight of their earlier exchange lingering in the air around her, reminding her of everything that remained unsaid.

Hanni opened her closet, searching for comfortable pajamas to wrap herself in, hoping to find some solace in the familiar fabric. As she attempted to remove her dress, she realized it was tied with a complicated ribbon at the back, an intricate knot that, while beautiful, proved frustratingly difficult to untangle. After several attempts to undo the ribbon on her own, annoyance bubbled within her.

Hanni glanced at her reflection in the floor-length mirror, huffing at herself, the frustration evident in her furrowed brow. "Why does everything have to be so complicated?" She muttered under her breath, feeling the absurdity of the situation wash over her.

Finally, in a moment of resolve, Hanni carefully descended the stairs, the skirt of her dress still in her arms. She walked toward Minji's room, the weight of anticipation mingling with uncertainty. After a moment's hesitation, she raised her hand and knocked softly on the door, her heart racing as she waited for a response.

Minji, just wrapped in a bathrobe, heard the knock and hurried to secure the belt before opening the door. The soft fabric brushed against her skin, a comforting reminder of the warmth she craved. As she pulled the door open, her heart raced, a mix of hope and anxiety coursing through her.

"Hi!" Hanni offered an awkward smile.

"What's the matter?" Minji asked.

"Mrs. Jung is off duty," Hanni fumbled for words, feeling too embarrassed to directly ask for help with her dress, as if such actions could be misconstrued.

Isn't Mrs. Jung off duty every night? Minji furrowed her brows in confusion. "Are you hungry?"

"No," Hanni quickly shook her head, her voice trembling slightly. She hesitated, biting her lip before finally admitting, "It's my dress... Mrs. Jung helped me put it on earlier, but the ties are at the back, and I can't untie them myself."
