Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise, his grip on Taehyung tightening reflexively. "What?"

"I know it's a lot to ask," Taehyung rushed to explain, "but I want to feel that connection to the pack in a way that's more than just being a member. I want to carry our pup."

Jungkook stared at him, his mind racing. He knew that Taehyung had always been a free spirit, and the idea of tying him down to the responsibilities of parenthood was a big one. But he also knew that the desire to nurture and protect was strong in his omega.

"And I want to have a pup because I've always dreamed of having a pup and that's mama wanted before she died." Taehyung cried silently, tears escaping his eyes, feeling the pain of his mother's death all over again. Jungkook could feel the pain radiating from Taehyung and it was ripping his heart apart.

Jungkook took a deep breath, his mind racing. "Tae," he began, his voice gentle. "We can talk about this. But it's a big decision, one that we need to think about carefully."

Taehyung nodded, sniffling. "I know," he said, his voice small. "But I just... I want to feel that connection, that purpose."

Jungkook pulled him closer, his heart aching at the thought of his mate in pain. "We'll figure it out," he promised. "Together."

"But first let's balance everything out and then we can have our pup," Jungkook said, stroking Taehyung's hair as he wiped away his tears. "We'll talk to eomma and appa, get their advice, and then we'll decide what's best for us and the pack."

Taehyung nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. Jungkook's willingness to consider his feelings meant the world to him. They cuddled closer, their bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces. The conversation from the garden with Jimin and Yoongi played in Taehyung's mind, their words of support and understanding resonating deep within him.

The next few days were a whirlwind of activities, with the pack preparing for the upcoming full moon. Training sessions intensified, and Taehyung threw himself into every exercise with newfound determination. Taehyung took off at a lope, his white fur a stark contrast against the dark trees. He found a small clearing with a frozen stream running through it, the moon casting shadows that danced on the ice. He sat down, his eyes closed, and let the night wash over him. The call of the wild was strong, but so was the bond that held him to Jungkook and the pack.
