Taehyung's heart raced as he stared at Beom's text message. It was a simple invitation, yet it held the promise of something more. A chance to explore uncharted waters. The café they had chosen was cozy, tucked away in a narrow alley, its windows adorned with frost-kissed patterns.

As Taehyung stepped inside, the warmth enveloped him, thawing the chill that clung to his skin. Beom sat by the window, his dark eyes fixed on the falling snowflakes. He looked different outside of school, softer, vulnerable. Taehyung wondered if he was seeing the real Beom for the first time.

"Hey," Beom said, his lips curving into a hesitant smile. "Thanks for coming."

Taehyung nodded, his heart fluttering like a trapped bird. "Of course. It's Christmas, after all."

They ordered hot chocolate, and as the steam rose from the mugs, Taehyung found himself studying Beom's hands. The way they trembled slightly as he wrapped them around the ceramic. Beom had always been a mystery, a constellation of contradictions. He was brilliant in class, aloof in the hallways, and infuriatingly enigmatic when it came to matters of the heart.

"So," Beom began, stirring his drink, "I've been thinking a lot lately."

Taehyung leaned forward, curiosity burning in his chest. "About what?"

Beom's gaze met his, and for a moment, Taehyung forgot how to breathe. "About us," he said. "About whether we could be more than just friends."

Taehyung's mind raced. Was this real? Or was he trapped in one of his own stories, where love bloomed like wildflowers against all odds? He remembered the urgent kisses he'd written about. Passionate, desperate, and full of promise. But this was different. This was life, messy and uncertain.

"Taehyung," Beom said softly, "I've watched you from afar for so long. You're like a mermaid, elusive and enchanting. And I-I want to dive into those uncharted waters with you."

Taehyung's heart swirled like a tempest. "But what if we drown?"

Beom reached across the table, his fingers brushing Taehyung's. "Then we'll drown together," he whispered. "Or maybe, just maybe, we'll learn to swim."

And in that tiny café, surrounded by the hush of falling snow, Taehyung took Beom's hand. They were no longer best friends or mere acquaintances. They were two souls daring to explore the depths of love, their hearts beating in sync like a forgotten melody.

It has been months since Beom and Taehyung had been dating. Beom always treats Taehyung like a princess and Taehyung just couldn't believe the whole situation. He believed that he will wake up one morning realizing it was a dream.

One day Taehyung was coming to Beom's home from school and was ready to jump on his boyfriend and cuddle him for the rest of the night. He opened the door and was met with pin drop silence.

He got suspicious as he closed the door behind him and walked to the leaving only to see a sight which he wasn't ready to see

The air in Beom's apartment grew heavy as he stepped through the door, his heart pounding. The scene before him was like a cruel twist in one of his own stories. A betrayal etched in vivid colors.

Beom stood there, his lips pressed against another man's, their bodies entwined. The room seemed to tilt, and Taehyung's world shattered. He had believed in Beom, trusted him with secrets and dreams. But now, the illusion crumbled.

"Taehyung," Beom stammered, pulling away from the stranger. "I can explain."

The stranger smirked, his eyes cold. "No need," he said. "I'm just the latest in a long line, aren't I?"
