The next morning, Taehyung woke up alone, as always. He stood up from his bed, feeling the familiar emptiness that had become a constant companion. The thought of Jungkook leaving to drown his sorrows at some bar irritated him. Perhaps it was time to face the truth: their marriage was crumbling, and he couldn't bear it any longer.

As Taehyung prepared for work, he resolved that they needed to get a divorce. The pain of their fractured relationship weighed heavily on his heart. He couldn't keep pretending that everything was fine when it clearly wasn't.

Heading to the kitchen, Taehyung intended to make himself breakfast. But what he saw there stunned him. Jungkook was in the kitchen, moving about with a sense of purpose. He was making breakfast. A sight Taehyung hadn't witnessed in a long time.

"Jungkook? What are you doing?" Taehyung's voice was a mix of surprise and confusion. Jungkook turned around, his expression a blend of nervousness and determination.

"Good morning, my love," Jungkook said softly. "I'm making breakfast. Well, at least I tried to." He chuckled, attempting to lighten the mood, and then returned to focusing on frying the eggs.

In that moment, Taehyung wondered if there was still hope for them. Maybe, just maybe, their love could be salvaged. Even amidst the pain and brokenness. But he knew it wouldn't be easy. Healing required forgiveness, and sometimes forgiveness was the hardest battle of all. Yet, as he watched Jungkook, Taehyung felt a glimmer of possibility. A fragile thread of hope weaving through their tangled hearts.

As Jungkook dished up breakfast and set the plates on the dining table, Taehyung felt a mix of surprise and warmth. Perhaps there was hope yet. A chance to bridge the gap that had grown between them.

"Breakfast is ready," Jungkook announced, his voice soft and vulnerable. Taehyung hesitated, then took a seat across from him. The aroma of freshly cooked food filled the room, mingling with memories of happier times.

They sat in silence for a moment, the weight of their shared history heavy in the air. Taehyung picked up his fork, glancing at Jungkook. Maybe, just maybe, they could find a way back to each other, one meal at a time.

"Uhm i thought about what you said last night. I didnt sleep the whole night because the thought of losing you and our daughter hurt me, so i decided I'll change my habits. I will stop drinking and doing drugs, I will focus on our family and uh i also need money to pay for therapy. I'm planning on seeing a therapist." Jungkook says as he doesnt have a job as of yet. and Taehyung is just shocked by this.

Jungkook's heartfelt confession hung in the air, leaving Taehyung momentarily stunned. The weight of their shared pain and history pressed down on him, but there was something different this time, a glimmer of hope.

"You didn't sleep all night?" Taehyung's voice was soft, almost disbelieving. Jungkook nodded, his gaze steady.

"I can't bear the thought of losing you and our daughter," Jungkook continued. "I've decided to change. No more drinking, no more drugs. Our family deserves better." His vulnerability was both heartbreaking and courageous.

Taehyung's mind raced. Could he trust Jungkook's words? But then he remembered the breakfast, the eggs, the quiet determination. Maybe actions did speak louder than words.

"Jungkook," Taehyung said, reaching across the table to touch his hand. "I am beyond happy that you're doing this. But please don't disappoint us with your words again. I'm fully putting my trust in you." He didn't know how yet, but he would. For their sake, for the fragile thread of hope that now bound them together.

"uh by the way, w-where is Kiyeon?" Jungkook says, his voice a bit cracky remembering all the days he hasnt even talked to his daughter at all.

"Kiyeon is with Yoongi hyung," Taehyung replied gently, his heart aching for both Jungkook and their daughter. "We'll figure this out, Jungkook. One step at a time." He squeezed Jungkook's hand, silently promising to navigate this fragile path toward healing together.
