I hope you all enjoy this update.
Ella's POV
"E why have you never told me you have this?" Blair asks as she holds up a vintage Mugler.
"Probably because I forgot I have it." I answer honestly as I sit at my vanity while Palmer puts makeup on me.
"You have vintage couture and you forget about it. That is the life." Charlie says as she tries to fit into one of my heels.
"I mean it if you guys need an outfit, shoe, purse, or just want to have some fun. Come on over." I tell them.
"Mama has the best everything!" Palmer says.
"I can't disagree with that." Serena says as she looks at herself in the mirror. "E, so like if I just want to wear this to school..."
"It's a bit much for school S, but you do you." I tell her and she laughs.
"I'll dress it down with a scarf." She teases.
"Oh yeah, a scarf is going to dress down Versace." I fire back.
"If not I'll take it." Blair offers.
"You can borrow anything you want. If I'm not wearing it for work or because I just enjoy it, then just let me know." I tell them.
"Wait. Are you serious?" Charlie asks.
"Of course. Just you know be careful where you wear it. Some of these pieces are timeless and no amount of dry cleaning can save them if they're ruined." I caution them.
"I'll guard this Dior with my life." Serena declares.
"You better. That is one of a kind."
"Mama, all done." Palmer says and I look in the mirror and admire her work.
"Mama has never looked better." I tell her.
"Yay, I made Mama pretty." I kiss my daughter and hold her tight. Blair turns up the music and we all get up and dance together while wearing items from my closet and just having the best time. No one was thinking of ex-boyfriends, heartbreaks, affidavits, or all of the other drama we've been through. This is what a girl's night is supposed to be.

3rd Person's POVCarol finds her sister reading in her office. "Still no word on the sentencing?" Lily looks up startled at her sister's presence.
"Uh, no, not yet, um...Did you know that Martha Stewart taught crafts in prison?" The sisters shared a nervous look.
"The flights are in a few hours. I hope we hear by then. And...I hope that Charlie speaks to me on the plane."
"Serena and Ella said they had a great girls' night. Probably just what she needed in light of, you know...your decades of massive hypocrisy." Lily tells her sister.
"I so wanted you to think I was different...that I'd gotten out. Uh, when you left LA, I had...I had no one." Carol takes a seat next to Lily. "And then one day I was 24, living out of my car...buying a pregnancy test at that drugstore up on Laurel." She reminds Lily. "Everything changed. I did not want Mom's help. But it wasn't about me anymore."
"Why didn't you tell me?" Lily asks.
"And have you find out I failed? After you rejected me and everything I stood for? No way!"
"I did not reject you." Lily argues. "All I ever wanted was your approval." She explains.
"Well, you got it now." Carol tells her. "Turning yourself in, not giving a damn what people think that's my Lily."
