I hope you enjoy another update.

"So I know I don't have a lot of money right now but I would like to take you on an official date."

"Date?" I question Nate.

"Yeah, that's what a gentleman does. Plus it will make all of this more real."

"Oh, it wasn't real before?" I tease him.

"Oh, you know what I mean." Nate bumps his hip with mine.

"A date is wonderful. I could make us a picnic in the park or we could go for a boat ride or..."

"All of those sound wonderful." Nate kisses me briefly before we make it on the school grounds.

"I will talk to B and then...no matter her reaction we will try and see where this all goes." I state as I point between Nate and me.

"I like the sound of me and you together."

"Wow, you are so sappy." I tease him.

"I am not."

"Oh, but you are. Which is good because I'm not big on romantic gestures so...you'll do enough for the both of us." I joke with him.

"We'll see about that Bass."

"Shit."

"What? I thought we were..."

"Okay so do we both want to tell Chuck or just you?"

"Why just me?"

"He's your best friend."

"And he's your brother."

"Which makes it harder for me to explain."

"And it makes it easier for me?"

"So what do you suggest?" I ask Nate.

"We tell him together." He suggests.

"Oh, he's going to hate that."

"He's going to hate it no matter how we tell him."

"I mean..." Nate raises his brow at me. "Yeah, good point."

"Well, all I can say it sucks that we can't spend the day together, but I will see you later." Nate squeezes my hand before heading off to his side of the school and I look up at the building as if it's the first time. Senior year and so many things are going to change.

I wasn't looking where I was going and I bump into someone sending their stuff crashing to the floor. "Sorry. My bad. Here let me help." I bend down and begin to pick up their things.

"No, it's...E!" Jenny squeals seeing that it's me.

"Aww, Jenny how are you? We talked and texted all summer but...we never got to hang out." We both stand up now.

"I know how sad is that."

"Very. I missed our fashion breakdowns and you picking my brain for the latest work and me realizing you are way ahead of your time."

"I know I was so busy with my internship with Eleanor Waldorf all summer and I literally had no time to even breath."

"I'm so happy you're enjoying the internship."

"Some days are better than others. But how are you doing? I heard you're taking a step back from modeling?"

"Uh...just getting college applications ready and preparing for senior year. With the wedding and combining our families, there was a lot of personal things that modeling is just put on hold."
