Two day's later
Ummi hasn't had anything to eat or drink. All she does is cry and stare. Her eyes are swollen due to all the crying, she has become lean in this two day's, there's no doubt ummi miss her parents like crazy.
They were all seating in Abi's living room, with all her relatives when her classmates came in.
She looked up and saw her best friends and the rest.
"Iky, I missed you" ummi said and she burst into a new series of tear's.
They hugged each other and ikram couldn't resist her tears too, they sat their crying and hauwa was the one calming them down trying so hard not to cry too.
Moment's later the crying subsided and they all sat there.
Amira, maryam and Amma brought food to her classmates.
"Aren't you eating?" Amina asked ummi.
"No I'm full" ummi replied.
"She's lying please make her eat, she hasn't had a morsel. She's becoming weak" Muhammad said worry evident in his voice.
"Heyy babe's pls eat something for your asad" asad said trying to lighten up her mood.
She tried to flash him a smile even if it's a fake one but she couldn't instead tear's cascaded down her cheeks but she wiped it quickly.
Each and everyone tried his luck again but to no avail except one person.
Rayyan took the plate of food and sat close to her.
"Regalo look at me" rayyan said making all her cousin's to look at him wondering why he called her regalo.
"Pls eat this, crying won't change anything you hear, your Ammi and Abi will never want to see their daughter like this, you have to pray for them instead of crying, and for that you need energy don't you? So pls eat" rayyan said in a low tone.
Just like magic she opened her mouth and rayyan fed her, she ate until she couldn't anymore.
"Handsome dude thank you so much, you were really a great help to us" Adda sabeeha said.
"It's nothing, she's my best friend and I can do anything for my regalo" he said smiling and for the first time since her parents died she smiled a genuine one.
"So guy's let's tell her why we're here" hafiz said.
"Oh Yh about that" saleema said nodding.
"We couldn't graduate without our Barkindo, without you the graduation will feel so dull so we decided to come and do it here" Ibrahim said.
"Not a grand celebration, just put on the graduation gown and take pictures" marwan said.
"So babe get your lazy ass off that chair and go make yourself look good" Amira said.
All her cousin's ushered her to go freshen up.
She showed her male classmates hamma Aneel's room where they can change and her female classmates followed her to her room.
The men dressed into suit and the girls in black gown and a vintage scarf putting on the graduation gown.
They went out and took pictures, it was such a memorable day. After they were done, they came back and everyone presented his gift.
Ikram gave hauwa, rayyan, and ummi a friendship bracelet, hauwa gave rayyan, ummi and ikram a watch, rayyan gave ikram and hauwa locket's, he gave ummi a golden locket with his picture and her picture inside. Everyone gave everyone gifts on their last day. Ummi gave rayyan a watch, she bought it for the two of them, matching watches when you press the middle it will give signal to the other person.
Her phone was stolen, hamma Aneel bought her a brand new iPhone 14, SIM card, EarPods and smartwatch. Mami bought iPhone 13 for ikram because she's the only one who doesn't have phone. Hauwa has iPhone 13 pro and rayyan has iPhone 14 just like ummi.
That's how they all made that day memorable for ummi, the class of 2014. She said goodbye to her classmates in tear's having faith that one day if they're meant to cross paths then they surely will. Each of her best friends left with a heavy heart, guilt eating them up because they all wanted to tell her something but they didn't want to add to her problems.
Rayyan left with a heavy heart, he couldn't tell ummi how much he love and adored her but he had faith they will meet again.
Hauwa left guilt eating her up for not telling Barkindo what she heard and saw. She saw her twin sister and her dad will surely come back for
her, it was all her dad's doing.
Ikram left guilt eating her up for not telling Barkindo that they might never meet again, her aunt is getting her married.
That's how the four best friends separated having faith that they will meet again.
