Roman's eye twitched a little when Becky's giggles were heard, bouncing off the cave walls. He caressed his temple and gave a glance to his friend, not even wanting to wonder how this was possible.

Remember how much Roman said Becky loved furry animals? Well, whoop-di-doo! He gets a live adaptation.
"You've lived here for a really long time haven't you?" Becky asked the creature. It did nothing for a while before nodding slowly and she giggled again, "I figured. The amount of power you possess needs to be hidden from everyone"

"Still can't speak Becky" Roman speaks up, standing at a far corner of the watery cave they were in. Becky pouted at her friend and the beast seemed to be very uninterested in what he had to say,
"But Roman, what if, listen to me..." She said with a pout when he tried to cover his ears,
"What if, he can understand human speech but he can't just speak it?"
"It's valid but still" Roman answers, walking towards them and standing in front of the mighty creature. He had to raise up his neck to look at the fox but he still didn't care and placed his hands in his satin pockets, staring it deep in the eyes.

The fox returned his gaze, staring deeply into his grey eyes. A small spark of something jolted between the two and suddenly the creature smiled widely.
"Roman" Becky gasped with her hands on her cheeks, " I think he likes you.."
The fox glanced at Becky, smirked and separated its paws from the space in between its lower quarters. Both of them widened their eyes and blinked rapidly,
"He is a she"
"I see that" Becky says, still shaken up. The fox smiled again and covered its lower quarters before moving into a crouching position. Roman backed up a bit but Becky stood still, letting it rest close to her. Its about cuddled her stomach and she giggled a bit when the fox shook it to tickle her,

"I know what you've come for"
Roman's eyes widened once again as he saw the creature speak. Becky only looked in wonder at the creature as it raised up its neck to look down at the two of them,
"I apologize for attacking you. It's not every time humans come down here to seek for help and not destruction"

"I will not waste any more of your time" The creature spoke, beckoning them with her paw to come closer. Once they did, she smiled fondly like a mother looking at her children,
"I've been waiting many years for the prodigies who would bring us to the light and out of the darkness"

"I am about to become a permanent part of both of you, like I was supposed to" She said, bringing up her tails to wrap around them. Roman's breath hitched as he felt pressed into the soft fur of her skin, "Take your destined gift and make all of mankind proud"
Becky smiled into the fur of her chest and tried to thank her but felt her whole body fill up with something.

The feeling was unexplainable and the blue hue that surrounded the wolf drained out of her body and seeped into the skin of the two people she hugged. Roman's eyes started to ache him and he felt as if it would pull out any minute.
And just like that, the wolf's aura disappeared, only giving way to tiny sparkles of dust.

Becky breathed out, feeling a surge of blood all over her veins and she smiled, opening her eyes only to frown when she didn't see the wolf.
"W-where did she go?" She asked, making Roman glance at her. He smiled softly and wrapped his hand around Becky's shoulders,
"She's where she needs to be Becky"

Becky smiled at this answer before looking around the cave, "Her home is beautiful, I hope she won't mind not being here "
"She'll be fine, trust me" Roman smiles, making Becky giggle and hug him tightly. Roman's smile returned and he was about to hug her back but stopped when he felt the pupils in his eyes split apart.
Becky looked up when she didn't feel him hug her back and blinked in surprise, his eyes didn't have his normal grey shine. They looked separated and they were glowing white,
"Roman?" She mumbled and detached from him. The black-haired couldn't answer because what he was seeing left him speechless.
Bloodshed, destruction, cries of agony, death........He seemed to be having a vision of some sort and the gore of the mass carnage he was seeing left him speechless,
"Roman, what's wrong?" She asked again and his eyes suddenly returned to normal, his grey pupils reforming back into shape,
