They say love thy neighbor...
I thought it was only a saying, one that is said but never actually implied.
That was until that one day when I stepped foot onto my neighbor's porch and met a new boy who immediately stopped in his tracks when he saw me.
Shaka: "Uh hi. I'm Shaka."
??: "I'm......Y/n."That boy would become my neighbor,
then friend,
then best friend,
then lover,
one who promised to be with me forever after M'Dear's roast.Shaka changed my life for the better, and for worse at times, but I'm so grateful that I met him and the amazing person he is.
This ring I wear upon my hand holds his love for me. It flows throughout my body and merges with the love I have for him.
So when they say "love thy neighbor", I smile and realize it's more than just a saying,
it's a way of life.
Now, I close this journal in order to open a new one that holds new stories, new chapters, and new adventures with Shaka.
Until next time,
Y/n ❤️
