Chapter 30:

Jisoo stood for a few hours watching Lisa and Jennie talk. She raised her eyebrow to show how Lisa enjoyed being with Jennie.

"What an awful view," Jisoo said holding the wine glass  tightly.

"I didn't know that these two lovely ladies—and my brother's wives, to be exact—were having a good relationship. It's very odd. I have to know what's going on between these two." Jisoo said and take a sip of her wine.

Hana glance at her for a few seconds, scanning her boss's mood.

"I think they're just a good friend," Hana said trying to convince her boss, Jisoo put her wine glass at the top of the table counter and look at her assistant

"You know what? Leave! You're getting on my nerves," Jisoo said, rolling her eyes and landing her eyes again on them. Jisoo fixed her hair when she saw Lisa about to enter the house.

Jisoo clears her throat but Lisa didn't notice her and was about to go upstairs

"You enjoy her company, aren't you?" Jisoo said all of a sudden making Lisa stop and look at her.

"That's no concern of yours." She said coldly.

"You're so mean, I'm just being nice here," Jisoo said and pout her lips on her, Lisa looks at her from head to toe and sighed.

"No wonder you won the award for best actress; you're good at it. But I apologize; I'm not convinced. I know you so well, Jisoo. You're not like that; stop your little drama." Lisa said and look straight into her eyes without giving any emotion.

Jisoo flipped her hair before hissing

"How ironic, you're not like that either Lisa. We've known each other for so long, we even share the same air." Jisoo said and smirk

"Get your hands off her." - Lisa, Jisoo make face and smiles, Jisoo walk towards her and looks into her eyes. She saw how mad Lisa is, the reason to smile bigger.

"You cared so much about her, aren't you?" Jisoo said Lisa is about to utter something when Jisoo takes a deep breath and turn around.

"Anyway, let's find out. I've told you, I'm just being nice here. See you later, Hanna and I are preparing something." Jisoo said and waves at her.

Lisa decided to avoid her and went upstair.

"Hanna, prepare all the ingredients that we need... I just need to talk to someone." Jisoo said, Hanna bows at her and start to chop some onions.

On the other hand, Jisoo went to the backyard, where she found Kai and other bodyguards securing the area.

"Hey!"  -Jisoo

"Ms. Kim," Kai said and bows to her as a sign of respect.

"I want you to do something." -Jisoo

"What is that Ms. Kim?" -Kai

"You guys could take a day off." -Jisoo

"I'm sorry, Ms. Kim but Mr. Kim instructed us to keep secure and safe here." -Kai

"And you know what? I'm delighted that you guys are very hardworking, loyal, and dedicated, but I already talked to him, and that's his order." - Jisoo

Kai looks surprised and isn't convinced about what she said. She's about to get his phone when Jisoo walks towards her.

"And don't you dare to call him, he's been busy doing his thing," Jisoo said and gave her the most innocent smile her. Kai didn't respond for a few seconds and with that, Jisoo elbowed her.
