Jennie POV

Everyone is panicking because of what happened. Most of us are confused as to why he hanged himself. I feel like we've got bamboozled with someone. I can't help but think that someone did that to him.

After that incident, they just brought his unalive body and informed us that they would investigate and examine his body.

There is a deafening silence inside the mansion. I can't help but pity him, he's such a good and hardworking man I've known, and it's not impossible why Min-jun trusted him that much.

I'm wondering if Lisa has a connection regarding his death. But Lisa won't be able to do that.

I scanned her inside the house and started to look for her, but Lisa disappeared a few minutes after the incident at the shed.

I shook my head, it can't be.

I was about to look for her upstairs when I saw Jisoo sitting on the couch and crying. I looked from left to right to check if Hanna was there but I thought she was alone. I was hesitant to approach her, but I couldn't take myself to ignore her, so even if I knew she had done something bad about me, I decided to walk towards her.

"J-Jisoo, are you okay?" I can't utter a word, and my voice is quite shaky, but I still manage to make sure that Jisoo is okay.

I was expecting her to say something but she didn't even bother herself to look up and check who I was. I move closer to her and check her again, while she's cupping her face using her palm.

I'm about to tap and comfort "Go away" she refused and pushed me away. I didn't respond to her for a few seconds, but I didn't give up and tried to comfort her again.

"I know you're upset about what happened but you're not alone, I am too... Kai was good and dedicated to his job, and I know he has done a lot of things to make sure that we're safe and secured and justice will be given to him." I said firmly, I'm not convinced that he killed himself.

I'm not in a good position to say this, but as I observed him, he's not the type of person to end his own life and besides, he told me something before the incident.

"I-It's m-my fault," Jisoo said which caught my attention, I furrowed my brows.

"Huh? Wait, no. It's not your fault." I said when I realized that she was referring to what happened to me in the shed.

She's bawling and sobbing like a crybaby, her eyes are red.

"Oppa was right. I'm a troubled kid" She said, I didn't respond and stared at her. Jisoo is crying, she feels the guilt and I couldn't blame her.

If I'm in her position, I'll say the same thing to her. I'll blame myself but I don't think it's her fault, there's nothing that we can do about what she has done.

I put my arm on her back and caressed it.

"I'm not in the right position to tell you this, but..." I pause and sigh "I think, it's not your fault." I said and smiled at her.

"Why are you like that?" She asked, I hissed and looked down.

"I understand you. You are right. Min-jun married a woman with a below standard, what do I expect? Of course, everyone will think that the reason why I marry him is for his money." I said and took a deep breath.

"And you are correct, I married him because of his wealth but believe me or not, I did love him" I didn't expect her to say something, yeah... I loved him until I met her. Lisa
