<N's POV>

His girlfriend really likes plushies.

Her entire bed was covered in the little stuffed animals, which she snuggled into them when resting. It made the usually dark and gloomy Uzi look ridiculously adorable and soft-and was also what made N really, really want to hug her. She was just so cuddly.

N noticed that she was always a plush too. Whenever he walked into her room, she would always have a stuffed animal either beside her or in her arms. If she was studying at a desk, she would have a plush in her chair. If she was drawing, plush on her table. If she was sleeping-well, plushies everywhere.

She was adorable.

"Uzi," he asked one day while walked back from class, "can we have a sleepover?"

"Sure. What are we doing?"

"I don't know. You decide. I just wanna cuddle." He didn't even bother trying to hide it.

"Wanna watch WALL-E with me?" she suggested. "It's some movie with a cute little robot."

"Okay!"

This was N's thought process.

I'll get to hug her, right? Surely there's a chance that we can cuddle. She'll cuddle me. Someone who looks that cuddly with stuffed animals would be cuddly with me, right?

Yeah, no.

The couple wore matching pajamas-a black shirt and some plaid pajama pants in their respective eye color. They sat amongst the plushies, Uzi practically having to move mountains to make room for N.

They turned on WALL-E, both of them cooing at the little Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class robot that wheeled around so cutely.

And that was when N noticed the plushie.

And that annoyed him so much.

He shuffled closer to Uzi to see if she would notice, but she had her eyes glued to the screen and the little robot. She paid him no attention as N rested his head on her shoulder lazily.

N was getting jealous of the plushie in Uzi's arms, glaring at it intensely. Why can't that be me?

I've never wanted to be a stuffed animal more in my entire life.

He nuzzled closer, seeing if she'd at least look at him, but no. Instead, she squeezed the plushie even tighter.

And this ticked him off so much.

N breathed in and out purposely getting air onto Uzi's neck, his warm breath probably tickling her skin, but she still didn't notice.

He was starting to get mad.

He snaked his arm around her waist, touching the part where her shirt lifted and pulling her closer to his body. He tried gaining more physical contact to get more attention, but still no.

The frustration bubbled inside N as he ripped the stuffed animal from her grasp, tossing it onto the floor dramatically. "Why won't you pay attention to me?"

Uzi looked confused. "What?"

N growled in frustration. "You keep cuddling the stuffed animal more and more, but when I get closer to you, you don't cuddle me," he pouted.

"Aww, N." Uzi pulled him closer, hugging him tight. "Are you jealous?"

"No!" Yes.

She smiled. "Sure you aren't. I can cuddle you if you really want me to."

"Really?"

"All you had to do was ask," Uzi corroborated. "If you had spoken up, I would've given you cuddles.

N smiled, throwing the stuffed animal to the floor as he melted against Uzi. He loved his beautiful girlfriend a lot, but sometimes she had priorities that made him jealous.

Uzi's head lay against the pillows while N's head was in her lap. N hummed softly as Uzi stroked through his curls, making him relax. The two of them started drifting off together, N melting into Uzi as he turned sideways.

And he fell asleep.

its from the pjo (percy jackson) fandom and takes place at the end of the titan's curse. go check it out if you have time, the thing is seriously underrated and has almost no reads. when im not spending time on this book, im over there. plus, it came out before this book and its kinda sad to see how poor its performance is ;-;
