Uzi x N Oneshots

birthdays!

Flireflies and popcornchiken i tried to mash ur reqs together and make something cute but idk if this rlly as cute as i thought itd be :/

<N's POV>

N was walking back the pod after a long day of hunting with V. She decided to drag him to some secluded place in the forest.

V pulled out a backpack and tossed it at N. "Get dressed, Uzi is at the pod."

"Wait, what?"

"Don't you want to look nice for your girlfriend?"

"Yes, but-"

"Go get dressed."

After he got dressed in slightly cleaner clothes, V dragged him back to the pod, shoving him inside, following, and closing the door after him.

"What-"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" voices shouted, a cordon of people appearing from seemingly out of nowhere. N was startled, jumping back a bit before breaking out into a huge grin.

Everyone wore either a blue or red party hat-Uzi, Thad, and J with red while Thad, Lizzy, and V (which she put on shortly after N walked in the room) with a blue.

A blue hat flew to N's head, a purple glowing symbol slashing through it. His eyes immediately snapped to Uzi, cutting her hand off immediately. "Uzi! You can't do that!"

"My bad," she said with an innocuous smile.

He looked around at everyone. "This is like Gnomeo and Juliet."

J clapped. "I knew he'd get it!" She glanced around at everyone, waiting for a reaction.

They realized what they were supposed to do.

"Yeah!"

"Great job!

"You're not dumb, N!"

Uzi sighed. "That was the inspiration, in case you couldn't tell from these idiots. Wanna watch the film now?"

N jumped in excitement. "Okay!"

Thad and Lizzy set up the projector, while V and J did something behind him.

"N!" J said. "C'mere, you get the first slice, birthday boy."

He smiled at the purple lawnmower cake, using his claw to cut a slice for himself and for everyone else. They all sat down, huddling together as they watched the cute little film together.

After they were done, they exchanged gifts, everyone giving N things that he liked. They all left, except for Uzi, who had yet to give him his gift.

Uzi handed him a small box, fiddling her fingers nervously. "Here you go."

N smiled, tearing the wrapping paper to reveal a small black box. He opened it, and inside was a circular golden locket with a heart engraved in the center.

"Open it," Uzi said.

Inside was a picture of the two of them holding their hands, happily walking together. On the inside of the door was a message that he had to squint to read.

"I'm always here with you," he real aloud.

"I got this so that you'd never be alone," she explained. "No matter how far away I am from you, you'll never walk alone because I'll always be with you, holding your hand along the way. Even if I'm not there."

The lines were clearly practiced, but they had enough meaning for N to shed tears. "Uzi..."

Uzi kissed his cheek as tears leaked out of his eyes. "You love it, don't you?"
