<Uzi's POV>

They sneaked around the mansion, trying to be as stealthy as possible.

Until Tessa thought it was a good idea to crash into a statue.

"How do you reckon we murder us a robot child—ugh!"

The statue teetered to one side and almost fell on the human. She quickly steadied it, but eyed the sword.

J found a revolver while Uzi found a dagger. The three of them turned around toward each other, brandishing their new weapons.

"How about this?"

"Do I look cool?"

"What about this?"

J and Tessa side-eyed each other, switching weapons.

J turned to Uzi. "And yes, you look cool."

"Tessa!" they heard.

Crow Uzi was perched on the railing by the corner, trying and failing to look inconspicuous.

A caw sounded in the distance as a broken pair of glasses appeared on the ground in front of them. They looked up, spotting a... thing they presumed to be Cyn crawling across the ceiling. A flash of lightning, and she was gone.

Immediately, the three (four if you include Crow Uzi) stood back to back, ready to fight.

Crow Uzi made a home in Uzi's hair. "There isn't time. N's gone, and I have no idea where he is or what he's doing. We need the basement key."

Crow Uzi flew into J's hair, reaching in and pulling the key out of her locks. "I'd kill you," she said, letting out an evil laugh.

She's just like me, the drone Uzi thought. Who am I kidding, shes literally me.

"Cyn's going to massacre the gala!" Tessa spoke in a hushed voice.

"N, too," Crow Uzi said.

Uzi frowned. "This N would never—"

"He would, because he's about to do it. We need to either A, get the hell out of here, or B, stop this N."

"What do you mean by 'this N'?" Tessa asked.

"Not now," the Uzis said.

For a moment, there was silence as they braced themselves for an attack.

Then, "Ah!"

They yelped as something shoved them forwards, Disassembly Drone N splitting the group and almost cutting Tessa.

J knocked the drone away with her blade, immediately taking a fighting stance. "Do your basement thing!"

(Drone) Uzi ran, but was quickly intercepted by a Disassembly Drone V. She slashed at her, making her yelp and drop the key. She fumbled to grab it, but V dove for it.

Her heart fell. No.

Before V was intercepted by a sword.

Tessa grunted as she threw the key at the Uzis. Crow Uzi quickly caught the key, only to have a sword thrown directly at their faces.

J quickly tackled them out of the way, catching the sword and playing a dangerous sparring match with disassembly V. Tessa also shot at N's forehead, causing him to hiss.

Unfortunately, these drones regenerated. Uzi could only hope that Tessa and J could stall for long enough.
