CH 46 - SORRY

How many days had Dunk been locked in Pond's room? It was less than a week but it was enough to make Dunk upset. Currently, Dunk had just finished examining Pond. After all, he was a doctor. He did not take personal revenge but cruelly abandoned another person's life. There was a noise outside the door, Joong walked in just as Dunk was coming to sit on the sofa. The sound of chains jingling made him pay attention from outside, but when he approached, he only received one sentence.

"If you came here to visit the sick, go over there, I don't want to be near you."

Joong didn't care about Dunk's words, he just gave an order and then bluntly grabbed Dunk's ankle. Dunk's legs were tied tightly by chains for several days, so they showed signs of redness. Dunk also tried to untie them a few times, so the red marks became even more obvious. Joong looked at his ankle, then suddenly reached out and removed the chain.

Joong raised his voice, he knew he did wrong this time, because he was so angry that day he locked him in the room. Joong's apology made Dunk react, but he lazily responded to him. Since he locked him here, Dunk has begun to fall into a state of not wanting to talk to anyone, especially to him.

"Really?"

Dunk just replied softly, he didn't want to talk to him so he lay down on the sofa and slept, ignoring him in the room, he turned his back to him and closed his eyes. Joong felt Dunk's coldness, looking at that expressionless back made him angry and uncomfortable, for the first time in his life he was ignored by others.

Joong's next words were ignored, which made him angry. Joong pulled his shoulder away, making him turn towards him, which made Dunk suddenly panic

"Why don't you talk?"

Dunk was lazy to talk to him, frankly he hated him treating him like that. What he did to him made not not want to pay attention to him anymore. Dunk continued to keep his quiet state, he wanted to close his eyes and sleep.

Anger made Joong unable to control himself and pulled him towards him, he bent down and forced a kiss on him. Dunk's eyes widened, his actions made him scared and pushed him away, finally that's why Dunk opened his mouth.

"You...bastard"

Joong heard this familiar scolding and wanted to kiss again. Just moments ago, he just touched his lips, he felt the softness of those lips. He also couldn't understand why he thought of a way to force a kiss to force him to talk, but maybe now he must have been attracted to it.

Dunk was scared of his actions. He pushed him away and successfully slapped his cheek. A loud sound rang out in the room, accompanied by Dunk's angry eyes. He stood up, taking a defensive stance before him

"You Mafia only know how to do depraved things like that, don't you? Locking people up, forcing marriages, is there anything else you won't do?"

Dunk was angry

"It's true that you only know how to rely on strength to coerce others"

Dunk let out a sentence, because he had untied him, he wanted to go back to his room, escape this stuffy room. Taking each step towards the door with pain in his ankle, Dunk gritted his teeth and walked to his room. After not having limped many steps, Dunk felt his body being lifted up and he suddenly carried him in his arms.

"You put me down"

"Silent"

His scary voice rang out again. Dunk struggled at first but then gradually became weak so he let him carry him back to his room. Joong sat Dunk on the bed, he went to find the medicine and sat down, this made Dunk scared and withdrew his leg when he intended to touch his leg.

"Sit still"

It can be said that Dunk is afraid of the times when he talks with only two words in each sentence, it was like an invisible scary command forcing him to obey. Dunk didn't dare to withdraw his leg anymore, he watched him pull his leg out, attentively applying medicine to his ankle.

Dunk's mind jumped continuously, and involuntarily let out a few exclamations, what kind of person he was, sometimes very scary, sometimes very cruel, but also sometimes very gentle. Dunk liked his gentle appearance. Now seeing him like that, he could only sit quietly and observe. If he was like this often, it would be better. He would also have more freedom in this house.

After Joong applied medicine to Dunk, he put the medicine tube next to the bed, telling him to remember to apply medicine regularly. Before leaving the room, he hesitantly turned back, looked straight at him and said one sentence

"Next time if you want to go out, tell me. You can go anywhere, but just tell me, I just want to make sure you're not in danger."

Joong left, the reason he locked him up was because he completely hid that he went out on his own, probably only worried about his safety, everything related to Aydin was dangerous, he was currently working for Aydin, and was the only one most likely to save Pond's life, no matter what, he cares a little.

After taking Dunk back to his room, Joong returned to Pond's room. His eyes immediately fell on the phone Dunk had forgotten, it had just lit up. Joong stood looking down at the text message that had just appeared in the background of his phone. His eyes seemed to tense when it was a message from Lemin. Suspicion prompted him to pick up his phone and look at a few text messages, mainly Lemin threatening him to reveal Pond's whereabouts. Joong's whole body was silent, because he must have seen that Dunk's responses were all on their side.

Joong was silent, he put the phone back in its original place and walked out of the room. Joong went to his office, before making a call, he closed the door, waited for the person on the other side to pick up, he just spoke in a low voice.

"Let someone monitor Dunk Natachai at all times, don't let him fall into danger"
