CH 97 - PHUWIN IS DISTURBED

Phuwin entered JoongDunk's wedding party in a state of not wanting to make as much noise as possible. He and Fourth chose a table near the corner of the wall, because he didn't want to attract too much attention, and he was used to living in seclusion.

After lunch, Phuwin went to his room to rest. He had just changed into his indoor clothes when there was a knock on the door. Phuwin went out and saw a wedding receptionist pushing a fruit cart standing in front of the door.

"Hello, someone asked me to send this to you."

Phuwin blankly pointed at himself as if to confirm whether the employee had sent the wrong message or not. He only saw her nod so he mechanically took the business card and a letter.

Phuwin sat at the table, looking at the business card that displayed the name of the sender, Shi Kowalski, the eldest son of this group, who was running the famous Kowalski Group, and was also one of Joong Archen's biggest partners.

Phuwin frowned slightly in confusion, he read the letter attached to the business card, it was an invitation to have afternoon tea together this afternoon. Phuwin really couldn't believe that he had intentionally sat in the corner of the party but still had someone paying attention, this reminded him of the two years abroad being pursued by many people, how troublesome. Phuwin put the business card and the invitation letter on the table, maybe this afternoon he would lazily go down to the afternoon party to avoid getting into trouble.

In the afternoon, Phuwin was sleeping soundly on his soft bed when Dunk knocked loudly on the door to disturb him. As soon as he opened the door, his friend pushed him inside to change clothes and pulled him downstairs. Phuwin wanted to hide but couldn't hide from his friend. This afternoon was just a party to meet Joong's partners. Dunk was bored so he pulled Phuwin downstairs to sit with him.

Phuwin sat on the chair, silently looking at the influential figures in the underworld, their manners and conversation were all solemn and dignified, Phuwin looked at them to the point of feeling bored. Phuwin's eyes fell on a tall figure, a handsome face, his hair was slicked back leaving only a small strand hanging down on his forehead, revealing a prominent high forehead. Phuwin kept looking like that, in his mind he seemed to be looking at him and smiling.

Not knowing when, Joong and he had come to the table where he and Dunk were sitting.

"Dunk, this is Shi, Kowalski's underground agent in place of his father."

"Hello, it's an honor to meet you."

Shi solemnly extended his hand to greet Dunk, Dunk also shook hands back but quickly let go because he was afraid Joong would keep looking.

"Just call me Dunk."

"Oh, okay, I've heard of you for a long time. You're a famous doctor. I really admire you because you dared to quit your job at the hospital to follow Joong."

Dunk chuckled, not expecting that so many people would know about his resignation, so he just smiled and let it go. Shi looked up at Phuwin, his eyes filled with goodwill as he greeted him.

"And you are..."

"Phuwin"

Phuwin lightly replied with two words, although annoyed but still politely replied. Shi nodded slightly.

"I've noticed you since this morning. You look very outstanding. I wonder if you've received my invitation to the afternoon party?"

Shi spoke, causing both Joong and Dunk to look at the two in surprise, while Phuwin only replied indifferently.
