CH 80 - LATE REALISATION

Gemini tossed and turned all night, lying on his back on the bed, staring straight at the cold ceiling, thinking about everything Likang had just said. The brief meeting between Likang and him had brought him so much confusion in his heart, and now he didn't know how to untangle it all.

Gemini closed his eyes, his mind flooded with memories of the first time he met Fourth, and the times when he was by his side, whenever he called out, they quickly appeared. In Gemini's subconscious, the image of Fourth smiling suddenly appeared, when he happily planted flowers in front of the house or in the backyard, no matter how dirty his face was, he still happily picked up the watering can and diligently took care of them. He also remembered the bright smile when Gemini gave him a teddy bear, just a small teddy bear but he happily hugged it and smiled all the way home. He remembered the way he diligently learned how to use the phone, and the simple clothes he wore, it seemed like everything he gave him he held close to his heart and treasured.

Gemini opened his eyes and sighed, he realized that he liked Fourth, because Fourth was Fourth, not because Fourth was Likang. Then Gemini suddenly laughed, a bitter laugh, he realized how stupid he was to have the heart to chase him away.

The next day, Gemini wanted to visit Likang's grave, so he stopped by the bakery that Fourth took him to buy some. Cin was still the one who came out to greet the customer and take his order.

"Give me a box of peach flavored cake"

Gemini spoke, the last three words sounded extremely sad, then he suddenly realized something and immediately added

"Ah...another box of strawberry flavor"

Cin stopped, she raised her eyes to look, although her face did not show it, she already knew in her heart that this strawberry was the one Fourth liked. Cin wondered if he had already investigated Fourth's address, she did not want him to meet him right now.

A few days ago, Cin unexpectedly visited Fourth and discovered that he was pregnant. After a period of interrogation, she finally found out the whole story. Cin kept blaming her innocent younger brother. She would keep it a secret for him. Why would he hide it from her? If she hadn't begged Fourth to tell her the address, he and LeMin would have hidden it from her. Regarding this matter, when Cin met LeMin, she scolded him for hiding the pregnancy from Fourth himself.

Putting his thoughts aside, Cin smiled slightly at Gemini and went inside to prepare the cakes. Gemini received the two boxes of cakes in his hands, he stopped by Likang's cemetery and then stopped by Liming's house.

Standing in front of Liming's house, Gemini was only holding a box of cakes. Because he had just happened to see a kid selling lottery tickets while driving along the road. Suddenly, he felt pity for him. He remembered that Fourth had also done this job before, so he stopped the car and gave the kid some money and a box of cakes. He hesitated, then decided to give the box of peach-flavored cakes to the kid, while he kept the box of strawberry-flavored cakes.

Liming ran out to greet Gemini, the kid still kept a happy face when he saw him, took the box of cakes and went inside the house. When Liming opened the box of cakes, his eyes widened in surprise then he innocently giggled loudly.

"Isn't this the flavor of cake that P' Fourth likes!"

Little Liming cried out in delight, he took the spoon and scooped up a bit and put it in his mouth.
